Tasty Deli Sandwiches — Restaurant in Santee

I ordered catering for a birthday party. Placing the order was easy, they answered all my questions, gave me suggestions for my headcount. The employees are all so nice and helpful and welcoming when you go in. We had 3 trays of sandwiches, turkey, ham and roast beef, potato salad, house salad, and fruit platters. Pick up went great, they brought everything out on a cart to the car and helped load everything. All of the food was amazing! The sandwiches had generous portions of meat on them. They packaged the lettuce, tomato, onion and pickles separately so the sandwiches didn't get soggy. Numerous people asked me if the potato salad was homemade, it was so good! The fruit platters were absolutely beautiful with a great mix of melons, berries and kiwi. The house salad was fresh and delicious, a nice mix of greens with tomatoes, cucumbers, and onions. I did a lot of research looking for a deli to order from and they had the best prices of anywhere. Their large trays feed up to 20 people, I got 3 and it was more than enough for my headcount of 60 people. This will definitely be my go-to place for any type of catering or whenever I feel...

This is my go to in when I’m in the area. I had a project in Santee for 6 days. I came to this spot for lunch 4 out of the 6 days. First day I got the hot pastrami which was my favorite( highly recommend). Next day I got the most popular turkey sandwich which is the varsity. Then came back after a few days and I was feeling their Philly cheesesteak so I got that and it was bomb. Last day I was in town I got the chicken Chipotle gouda sandwich which was my 2nd favorite. They even have gelato pops in the restaurant. They have soups of the day so that’s how you know it’s fresh ! Restaurant was clean and staff was nice which is always a plus. We stopped by for lunch on New Years Eve, and it wasn't too busy as there were plenty of seats for all of us that were there.

Their menu has many options, including soups and even just Boar's head meat if ya want. My fiancee ordered a meatball sub and she enjoyed it and would order again. I wasn't sure what to get, but i asked the worker and he recommended the #30, which was the Chipolte Gouda and it was delicious. I will definitely order again.
