Walked in with my husband and son to order two sandwiches. The one employee working was a young guy and was sitting on the table by the door and greeted us (rather loudly) with “how many sandwiches!?” He seemed startled as if we interrupted him somehow. Then he went behind the counter and started pushing us to order (my husband didn’t know what he wanted). He said he was tired and said that’s why he seemed a little off and pushy (he probably realized he was coming across a little too aggressive). Anyway we ordered the sandwiches and I noticed he wasn’t wearing his mask during this COVID pandemic. I made a comment to my husband and my husband politely asked the employee to put his mask on. The kid got really defensive and stated he had asthma but stopped what he was doing after rolling his eyes and put his mask on then put his gloves back on. Apparently we angered him with our request because I could see he was seething- his hands were shaking and when the bread wasn’t cooperating he started aggressively breaking it and slamming the meat into the bread. We made an excuse to leave because I was no longer comfortable with this young man serving us food. He needs to be fired. I work customer service and there was no reason other than maybe we interrupted his break for him to react so strongly to our entering the store. So I order the beast and a cold cut combo,first thing I noticed she has no hair net the store is empty and she hardly speaks English I also noticed that the display on the glass was mostly empty with three hours left of closing time? She already had most of the proteins put away.,the lettuce was days old almost brown 🤢 I noticed the rack was full of bread and she said we only have white and wheat. Today 9/13/21 around 7:20 7:30ish, I walk in, wait for my turn.
