Santee Public Library — Attraction in Santee

I love this place. It is clean, clerks are friendly and helpful! Wifi is pretty fast.

I wish they were open late on weekends rather than weekdays.

2 Major Cons:

1.Lack of outlets to charge your laptop. They have couple outlets so if you are not lucky to get a seat around them you have time to work on your laptop till your battery dies, and then pack your stuff and leave =) I am serious

It is very loud. People dont respect basic library rule to be silent. Every time you can see people snoring, talking on the phone, phone ringings, kids yelling, adults talking, people burp, fart, sneeze, cough non stop. Stuff trying to be nice to these people but it is not acceptable, they should be strict about noise. I would say it is loudest library I ever been.

I haven't been in a library for years, I was especially nervous about this one hence I moved out here, a little over a year ago.. my computer busted.. felt very nervous this was going to be your tipical snobby library that we see in the movies but Nelly was I wrong! The staff is incredibly nice and willing to help.

As for parents, I've noticed there's a decent section for children. I'm quite excited to bring my nephew's here on their visits sometime soon.

Came to this place the other day with the kids. The staff here are very friendly and ready to help. He also helped my kids get excited about reading by doing contests. Overall it's great, this location also has a 3D printer which is awesome by the way. Great way to be creative and learn something new.
