Ordered chicken fried steak, taste was acceptable but it was small with an over abundance of breading. The sides dishes were terrible, "buttered corn" was bland and apparently frozen judging from the texture and sogginess, canned corn would have been a far better improvement. The same was true of the green beans. I have used canned and frozen versions of the same vegetables at home so I know the difference between the two. The dinner roll was stale and hard. The onion ring appetizers were pitiful as they were definitely not hand made, again, it was obvious that they too were cheap premade frozen variety. I took my elderly mother there for a late afternoon lunch and with several empty booths available, we were seated next to a table of women that had 3 small children running around screaming and playing, that in itself was very bad situation, nothing against kids, but the fact that there were other seating options further away from the the chaos created from the unruly and poorly supervised children was a very poor choice by they hostess. I will never eat there again, even I were offered a free complimentary dinner because of the subpar food and experience I would decline without hesitation!!! There are so many other places to go for a far better meal than what I received, so a "free" meal would be a waste of time. Like the saying goes "trying the same thing over and over and expecting different results is the definition of stupidity". As I go up to pay my bill, the manager/owner of the restaurant is that the cash register so I figured I would just have him check me out. He proceeds to ignore me, not acknowledge me and walk away.
One of the waitresses out of the 2 in the restaurant to come cash us out I let them know that manager completely ignored me and walked away instead of cashing me out.
Sherry informs me that as he doesnāt have numbers to access the till. Ok, I proceeded to tell her, ā but he couldāve at least acknowledge me instead of ignoring me and walking away thatās not really good customer serviceā. She then states that he is the best manager sheās ever had and I said well thatās great for you, but doesnāt really matter if his customer service consists of what Iāve seen.
I told her that her and her other waitress Cheyenne did a wonderful job and by no means my speaking down on them because they executed good service. She said thank you for the compliment. I left a tip for her and the other waitress. They both thanked us and as weāre leaving, she gave a snide remark of asking me if I needed a job, in a condescending tone, I told her I do not as I have a very good job I am very blessed and I hope she continues to have a great day.

Server was automatically overwhelmed, which I understand, but what I donāt understand is why she immediately asked us if these are our clients. First off, these are people too. They are our friends and a server should ask them questions instead of turning to us. They have voices of there own. The second thing is she was talking to one of our individuals and belittling them. She also tried to make us tip her by adding a 15 percent charge to each ticket because we have to split the check more then 8 ways but when she came with the checks she said she didnāt do that because she ātrust usā. Some of the party we had was paying cash and she had already taken a tip from someone & then tried to add the 15 perfect again. Then when I went to pay the manager was over worked and up by herself with a long full of people. She was getting frustrated as I explained the situation and that she would have to re do the tickets. It took us about 30 minutes to even get out. We couldnāt stay the whole entire time to eat the birthday cake because the service was so bad and my team was so upset because of how they treated our friends.
