This was the Rib Crib in Sapulpa. They were severely understaffed and had mostly To go & drive-thru orderes. The crew is disorganized, that's on management. When the server brought my to go it was obvious it wasn't expected that I would take everything out & check it. It was missing an additional smoked sausage with my Ribs. I pointed this out & they made me prove it was on the ticket. The server went back & told the prep cook, they looked at me, talked & the server left. After almost 5 minutes a different server brought my sausage and I left. After the 15 min drive home the other shoe dropped. I'd not gotten the meat & toppings for the baked spud I'd ordered. I called the store back to tell them what I was missing was put on hold, disconnected and kept getting hung up on for near an hour. When I did finally get through they agreed to make good on the meat toppings, we used our own butter, cheese & green onion rather than wait. I went to get it and the server that meet me went back to the same prep cook as before & he became very animated looking at me several times. He finally got a bowl, put in some meat & tossed it on the line window toward the server. When she brought it to me l thought it was less than it should be & questioned it. At this point things got adversarial. I said I didn't like the cook, a different server started began defending the cook & made the situation more tense. I was treated rudely, said rude things in return & left. The staff at Rib Crib had the opportunity to deescalate this situation and instead choose to increase the level of agression & animosity. I spent more than $50 for dinner for two people & was treated like iv was trying to cheat the company. It will be a long time before I return to this Rib Crib, if at all. For the foreseeable future I will take my business to the new BBQ place in Tulsa Hills, Albert G's & see how they treat...
Read moreThis is the quality of food the managers putting out. When I called to speak to the manager I was given the runaround by the first teenager and told the GM is on vacation. I told them there still has to be somebody in charge let me speak to them. To which I was given a 12-minute run around and then another teenager gets on the phone and informs me that the manager on duty told her to get on the phone and handle it. I said no honey I want to speak to who's in charge and if you can't give me who's in charge then I'll just call corporate. To which she responded I don't care. So Joyce then proceeds to tell me the manager is busy in the kitchen so she picked up the phone to take care of it. If the manager is in the kitchen why would she send out this quality of food at all !Why as a manager would you know there's a problem on the phone that needs management attention and you send a teenager to the phone instead! So at the end of the day they will be receiving no more of my money or anyone's money who asks me what barbecue restaurant I suggest. Also this is the reason why people go to social media. I tried to handle it properly with Management on the telephone and instead, she put two teenagers on the phone to deal with it! We stopped eating inside years ago because the place is filthy, and the teenagers' attitudes are ridiculous. We had been faithful take out customers however...
Read moreReally disappointed because I hadn’t been to rib crib in years and hoped for ribs and brisket but they had ran out, which honestly sounds like an ordering inventory issue. But whatever, I can deal with ordering something else.
It was Mother’s Day and every surface was sticky and dirty. Which I understand because it’s super busy on holidays and everyone’s just trying to keep up. But.. I accidentally spilled water and the napkins I used were completely black from the floor. Definitely not a day or two of dirt 🤢
Waitress basically ignored me despite me trying to be really nice because it’s a holiday, only said Happy Mother’s Day to the grandmothers, she only really paid attention when she realized I was the one paying and tipping. She only had 1 other table at the time. Didn’t feel great being treated as an after thought compared to the rest of the table.
Bathroom was nasty. I didn’t even trust the baby changing table for my special needs son. There was trash everywhere, I looked into the back of house and there was trash and it looked pretty dirty.
I’ve worked in food service and it just seems like nobody who works there really cares enough. Which is fine, I get it and have been there, but when it violates health code that’s pretty bad.
I don’t know if it’s a management or hiring issue, but I really hope they improve so they don’t...
