While traveling, the first time to New Orleans, my sidekick and I stopped here during our road trip. We were looking to start our first taste of our destination. Good experience.
Two orders placed, one catfish dinner and I with oysters, catfish, corn on the cob, and boiled potato (oyster plate pictured). Everything was made to order, thus a small wait was required. The meals arrived pipping hot and fresh tasting.
The staff and customer service was good, smiles and friendliness abundant.
The bathroom was okay and one would feel safe utilizing.
Should I travel the exact path again I would stop there again.

Read moreWent to this location TODAY the male working the counter was on the phone didn't say hello or nothing a person called he took there order said thank you see you in 10 mins. Took my order o gave him my card in his hand he returned it on the counter. He should have given my card the same way I gave it to him. I told him to just issue me a refund he asked why I said because of the service he took my card back and threw it back on the counter. I went to get food for someone because I've eaten there before and the food was not all that good I will never go back there again I highly suggest crossing the bridge and going to Karos instead BETTER FOOD AND BETTER...
Read moreThey have truly mastered the art of frying here. Perfect batter, nothing felt too heavy. Golden brown and crisp, and just enough seasoning. The catfish and shrimp were both good, the fried okra needed just a little salt but glad it wasnt over salted. The fried pickles are done right, just simple batter and a good dill chip. They didnt taste over seasoned or salty like most places. Will def come back to try some steamed...
