I would love to be able to give this place 5 stars. The menu is wonderful, with so many gluten-free options, and the food was delicious. The workers were very friendly and helpful. But unfortunately, I had a bad service experience. I ordered a salmon entree. After sitting and waiting for a few minutes, a worker came and told me that they were out of salmon. Not a huge problem, but one that the person taking my order should definitely have known about. When the kitchen is out of something, they need to communicate that clearly to people taking orders. The worker told me what my other meat options were, and I selected shrimp instead. I asked if there was a price difference, and he said no, it would be the same price. On my way out of the restaurant, I looked at the menu and realized that the salmon I paid for was about $0.50 more expensive than the shrimp I received. Not a big deal, but again, that worker should have known the difference. While I was eating another worker came by and asked if they could offer me a free dessert because of the mix-up. That was a nice offer, but I had already purchased and paid for a dessert. I will go back, because the menu is wonderful and the food was delicious. Ran by Cheesecake Factory parent co. Fox restaurant group. It reflects the chaotic menu that has plagued its big brother cheesecake. The protein plus sides part of the menu is a confusing disaster that causes a congestion at the front of the restaurant. I guess maybe the concept needs to be established. There are other concepts like fresh kitchen and naked farmer local Florida brands that operate in this space and do very well here with a similar modern natural vibe. In any case no one checked on us. The food was tasty enough to pay for but the portions with miniscule. (Healthy right?!) and the staff was behaving as if someone needed an adult. I hope this is a workout process of turning down labor as the costs must have been significant as it was not busy. Not to mention they e been running lots of social media on YouTube and instagram in the area. I hope it sticks but my visit was not pleasant. Oh and please put more rose in the rose lemonade. I couldn't wait for Flower Child to open. The first time I went I had the Mother Earth bowl and it was good. The second time I had the Glow Bowl. It was good. I always order not dressed with dressing on the side. The third time I tried the Poke Bowl. It came with dressing. They remade it with dressing. The manager was kind enough to credit it since I dont eat sugar. I figured it was one bad day. Today I returned and ordered the beef bulgogi salad without dressing. It came with probably less than 1 ounce of beef and the greens which was just about a pile of romaine lettuce with scant pieces of mint and avocado. No sesame seeds. The dressing on the pineapple tasted sweet, not "pineapple kimchi". They remade a new pile of romaine lettuce with scant toppings. I just picked on it and left. Im not sure I want to try again.
