Just went for brunch for the first time. Was sat at a table with egg on the floor under my feet the whole time and no one offered to sweep it up, but whatever. Ordered the toasted yolk coffee, and it was awful. There was also what seemed to be a layer of oil on the top. After the first couple of sips, I didn’t touch it. Waitress never asked how it was the entire time. Ordered our food, I got a omelette with colby jack cheese, a biscuit and cheese grits. Cheese grits were great, biscuit was good but my first cut into the omelette had bacon in it. Server came out and offered to replace it as I don’t eat meat, which was fine. She asked if I wanted to keep the grits and biscuit. I said sure and placed on my napkin.. Soon the replacement omelette came out with shredded cheese all around it and inside, it was not melted in it. Whatever. Started eating omelette, very dry and was not Colby Jack cheese as the server had stated. Left most of the omelette there and server never came back to check if it was right this time or to ask how things were. She collected our plates, again did not ask about my full coffee or the omelette I didnt entirely eat and had brought the check immediately. Once the check came realized there was an up charge for the grits which the server offered as a side with the meal and didnt state there would be an up charge and over $13 for a cheese omlette that also had to be remade? Server was nice but definitely needs...

Dine in and take out food is usually good but BIG customer service issues. Picked up a $300 + breakfast order. No hint of a "good morning" how are you" " thanks for your big order" just an overall gloomy bad vibe in place, 1 customer and staff, looking down like they’re in prison. Mgr like a broken record, repeating, if you order day before I can deliver it. Got it, once is fine. One customer in the place but don't expect even an offer to help bring 1 of the 4 bags and 4 coffee out to car for the prepaid tip. Asked if condiments creamer, sweater sugar in there somewhere? Mgr said yeah it’s all in there. Unpacking order realized zero condiments and missing milk already paid for. Went back, i was begrudgingly given some cream and sugar to take back, which one would think you automatically include w 4 coffees? Mgr said there was plastic ware and not a hint of “sorry” for missing on that, or sorry missed the milk. Sorry you had to come back, Sad. Too many other options and be advised rewards program...

Our family enjoyed our lunch here today at this newly opened breakfast restaurant. All the dishes we ordered were phenomenal: The pork chop I had was so tasty and I love the hash brown version which was so flavory. Our Mother enjoyed her tomato basil soup and sandwich; Brother’s said their Southern chicken Arnold was so delicious; wife was very impressed with the avocado toast and lastly, we appreciate that they have a kids menu which all of them kids enjoyed every single dish they ordered. Our overall rating on their dishes was 10 out of 10. It was excellent. Our Family just loved all their meals. The ambiance also was great and the service was very good, despite one minor mixed up. The staff here were very friendly and the Manager walks around to check on each table which we always appreciate in a restaurant. It was one of the best lunch experience we had and confidently consider this place as one of the top breakfast restaurant in this area. We will...

I would’ve given a five star review had it not been for an experience of observing a staff member (who, I was told was the regional manager-yikes). A woman leaned out from the kitchen and screamed at an employee (who was up at the front of the restaurant serving a table) across all of the patrons. Very unprofessional. It made me feel very uncomfortable and I felt very sorry for the staff. The body language of the staff spoke volumes. If it weren’t for Crystal-who is a rock-star bartender-I would have left. Crystal is amazing and always gives stellar service. She is an asset to TY. The food is cooked to perfect perfection, and always delicious. A nice variety for breakfast (including multiple kinds of Benedict’s) and lunch. Pricing is about the norm these days. I will be back, because the food and drinks are delish and Crystal always makes it a fun experience.

This appears to be a relatively new place. It is clean, the food is very good, and the service is friendly and competent. My only issue is that it is lacking charm and personality. It's clean, but it just feels sterile. I think that it could use some decorating to give it some sort of personality. We arrived on a Friday morning. It was not crowded and we were seated right away. The host who seated us was also our server. She was friendly and did a fine job. I ordered a 4 egg omelet with American cheese and bacon. It came with a flaky biscuit and hashbrown casserole. I enjoyed it very much. My wife enjoyed a bacon and egg sandwich on sourdough. We both had coffee. The Toasted Yolk offers a full service bar as well as specialty coffees. It's food and service is worthy of a visit.
