Kam's Bubble Tea & Sushi — Restaurant in Sarasota

Didn't dine but the 5 dollar Uber Eats pickup was absolutely terrible. One of the worst ones ever. First you park in a fine gravel parking lot with very limited space Second you walk into what looks like a medical office with a receptionist window. There's nothing telling you where to order....where to pickup....????? Finally some extremely rude female, whom I feel was supposed to be greeting customers during THE 12 OCLOCK LUNCH RUSH....TOOK HERSELF OFF HER BUSY PHONE CONVERSATION AND ORDERED MYSELF AND ANOTHER DRIVER TO GO TO THE BACK LIKE WE WERE SUPPOSED TO READ HER MIND?????? FINALLY....AFTER STANDING THERE FOR ANOTHER FEW MINUTES WITH ZERO ACKNOWLEDGMENT I CANCELED THE FIVE DOLLAR ORDER THAT WAS SITTING IN FRONT OF ME AND WALKED OUT. I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT INTO THIS OVERPRICED...RUDE ESTABLISHMENT EVER AGAIN. THERE A 100 OTHER SUSHI PLACES MORE AFFORDABLE THAN THiS ONE and they will treat you...

I've been buying bubble teas and Sushi from the owners for about 4 years now. The quality is not always consistent but it is above average. I love that they use real fruit in their drinks. The sushi is great and the soups are wonderful. They make an effort to keep their quality high. During the pandemic their bubble was bad - the inside was hard. I gently complained and they seemed to brush me off so I stopped coming for a year. There is a slight language barrier but I understand most of what they say. When I returned the female owner pulled me aside and asked me if I liked the bubble this time. She remembered me because I came about 3 times a week before I started my boycott. The new boba quality was perfect. She said they couldn't find a reliable supplier so they started making it at home....

WOW!!!! This place is so unique & delicious!! My daughter has been wanting to try Boba Tea for awhile now. So when I finally looked it up, this place popped up. It's a cute cottage like house that's very warm and inviting on the inside. We were assisted by the owners, a husband and wife team who were extremely sweet and informative. My daughter had the strawberry bubble tea & I had the coconut bubble tea - very delicious! We decided to make this our weekly mother-daughter after-school spot...... wanting to try all they have to offer!! They have a menu dedicated to sushi (which we'll definitely be trying on our next visit) and another dedicated to boba tea. A lot of variety.
