Let me start by saying I saw the reviews and was impressed by them so I told my wife let’s go eat there and see what’s this place is all about? Google directions was spot on but it is hidden. You have to really look to find the place. List of parking space. The restaurant is big inside with lots of space to dine in. Full bar, and a stage for live music, major plus in my book! Big turn off for me was the Flies inside the restaurant, in the dining area, by the bar, and mens restroom which by the was was not clean. My wife reported women’s restroom was clean, so I got the impression my wife was signaling men are filthy lol! Complementary platano chips with warm authentic chicken soup. The menu has many choices to pick from like Burgers and sandwiches, Appetizers and Caribbean Appetizers Salads, Soups, Sea Foods Are server was Maria, she was friendly and professional. I was impressed by more women working the establishment then men, lol! I would have given this place a 5 star review, but here were my takeaways. 1. No Octopus Salad, 2. Flies, flies, and more flies. Usually flies can be an indicator of lack of cleanliness. Overall expect to pay for two somewhere around $30-$50, without tip. Would I comeback to this restaurant again? Yes! Hopefully no more flies….lol Friends this is an update review as of 12/09/2023, the establishment has improved, better services, food is still amazing, prices are affordable, and more staff, professional, friendly, and customer obsessed. We visited the establishment today, Sunday 9/2 at around 3pm and we had the worst service by far with a very disrespectful server. We ordered two lunch meals, she took the order and did not clarify that the lunch meals were BLT sandwich OR Chicken with two sides and not Chicken BLT. We specifically asked for Chicken BLTs and she said nothing and took the order. We received two BLTs with burnt inedible bacon. We ordered two kids pizza meals, about an hour later one had not come and then a burger was brought for the second kids meal that we did not order, minutes later, the waitress confirms that there was no cheese pizza. We ordered a fruit juice and she brought a mojito, the sprite was flat, the waitress didn’t acknowledge any of her mistakes, we paid our bill and she walked away without giving us our receipt or saying a word and she did the same thing several times, walked away while I was still speaking to her. We spoke to the manager, she apologized and comped the kids burger meal we didn’t even order. She was upset because we spoke up about her mediocre service smh. What stood out the most, is that they offer complimentary chicken soup and we asked the waitress for a container to take it home since we didn’t finish it, the waitress said they usually don’t allow that but “ok” and brought the container. Does the restaurant pour back the unwanted soup to the pot? SMH The chicken soup was good. The restaurant was not busy or full. I hope this business owner realizes they have a waitress that is affecting...

The cooks know what they’re doing , the servers don’t . The owner is arrogant and doesn’t communicate with his kitchen staff or servers; he’d rather tell his servers to serve close friends than people who have been waiting for long periods of time. I understand the storm was an issue but you can’t use that as an excuse when you have money hungry servers one who aren’t even employed there (pregnant woman) yelling at customers when they’re confused as to why their 25-30 minute wait turned into a 2 hour wait with no warning or communication. The kitchen staff came out and asked my wife and I why we were still there and that we already had our order. I was beyond myself! Especially when the waitress decided to scream at me across the bar instead of coming to me and having a regular conversation . Manager didn’t even tell waitress anything but definitely tried to make it up for the other woman. I did have a 5 star review on this restaurant but after the service that I received in such a sensitive time for our community not only will I not be coming here but let it known I will warn people about this place .
