Dunkin' — Restaurant in Saugus

This used to be my everyday breakfast stop on the way to work. Recently, the food they served are not up to the mark. I didn't mind much because it was still edible for the price I pay. Yesterday, I purchased a bagel as usual on my way. First of all, the person who applied the spread cheese had messed up all over the outer wrapper and the napkins. I think the person who wrapped it had cream cheese sticking all over his hands. On arriving at my work place, I took the bagel out of the cover and it smells awfully burnt. The outside edges of the bagel was charred and breaking down to black powders. The seasoning on the bagel were also burnt and falling off. I tried taking a bite and it tasted so burnt and bitter that it was not edible. Even two halves of the bagel were so different that they didn't not fit perfectly (the top half was larger in diameter than the bottom half). I am not sure if the working crew has changed, but I can see that the quality of food has gone down to the drain. This needs to be addressed and...

Terrible. I know this is petty, but I was in the mood for a coffee at 10:30pm so I decided to stop by the drive through. All of the lights were on when I pulled up and I saw two employees walking around behind the counter. I figured they were closing soon, so I checked the hours and saw they were closing at 11pm. I pulled up to the speaker and all of the lights out back were on. After waiting a few minutes back I pulled away, and when I pulled in the front I noticed the employees had shut all of the lights off inside of the store. If they wanted to close early they could have just told me through the speaker that they were closed, rather than ignoring me and pretending I wasn't...

Never would I have thought I'd be leaving a review for a Dunks but here we are! They deserve it! This has been my GO TO DUNKS for a few years now and they truly get it right every time, and that is rare as all Dunks lovers know. Perfect dark iced tea with less ice, never watered down / at the end of a brew. Great sandwiches and bagels, super fresh and not stale. Even the hash browns always have a perfect crisp without being overcooked or soggy. Really, chef's kiss to this Dunks, never change, stop at this one whenever...
