After a 15 minute wait we were seated. Instantly greeted by the world's friendliest server Hopper. He looks like an actor from a Disney Channel sitcom. Super nice, funny and efficient. He quickly took our orders, didn't bat an eye at us ordering 5 different plates of food. Everything looked incredible on the menu, heck people's food at different tables looked amazing hence the ordering of massive amount of food. I ordered the Harvest Hash. Maple sausage, butternut squash, fig compote and caramelized onions. It was the perfect blend of sweet and savory. It came accompanied with potatoes, and eggs. Ate every bite and wished I had 2 stomachs to order another serving. Country breakfast was fantastic, the country fried steak was cooked to perfection. The chicken and waffles were fantastic, waffles fluffy, the chicken extra crispy. The eggs combo was fantastic with 4 pieces of perfectly cooked bacon. Last but not least were the pumpkin pecan pancakes. These were the best, sweetly spiced with vanilla and cinnamon. the pecans, crunchy throughout the pancake. The kicker of this? All that food plus coffees was less than 90. They have a rewards program which I signed up for. This will be my to go to place when I'm in Boston from now on.

$7 for a small glass (8oz) of squeezed Orange juice is a travesty. Orange juice will account easily for half your bill if all your party drink it. Food is ok but not enough for me to pay $7 for a glass of OJ. Like many people out there, I can not have breakfast without a glass of Orange juice. I would settle for a regular Tropicana glass of OJ but they do not offer it or at least, they should offer a larger glass (14oz) of squeeze OJ. I am also attaching two screenshots from another review about the OJ stating the same. On that post the restaurant response says it is 12.5oz on my response they say it is 13.5. Both reviews agreed that it is about 8oz. ---------------- o ----------------- (11/06-11:05am) Follow up to restaurant answer: They do not serve OJ on a 13.5oz. They use a half size glass which is usually about 8oz. At least that's the glass size they served me the two OJ I ordered. My suggestion is to offer a good quality OJ and a regular quality OJ to avoid the bad experience for the OJ lovers. You can also offer a real 13.5oz glasses which will justify the price and avoid people like me ordering twice and paying $14 on OJ.

The food was fine but they overcharged me about $20 and I didn’t realize it until we were leaving. I understand they were busy, but I was charged for a side salad when it was supposed to come with the sandwich instead of the fries. Also charged me for an extra cup of coffee.$4. I just had water. I know eggs are expensive now and they’re charging three dollars or so for each entrée [20%]I get it but the sandwich I got was the Monte Cristo which went from $16 to $22 It reads on the menu it's an option for salad instead of fries. After getting the bill for 3 people eating breakfast, it was $85.00 My wife loved it, but she said we’re never going back, the prices are too high.

This place is a gem. Incredible food with huge portions. I really appreciate that they have unique and creative breakfast items. As a big breakfast fan, it's a rare thing.

AJ was a fantastic, friendly waiter and made us feel welcome as soon as we sat down. He did this establishment proud with service so exceptional I'll remember it. And all it took was being real, being friendly, and being gracious.

The fresh squeezed OJ was delicious and the coffee was great. Bottomless cups of coffee, might I add.

I had the Saugus omelette and my wife had the Alexa. Both were full of layered flavors, fresh ingredients, everything scratch made.

Hash browns were cooked well, soft, seasoned and crispy exterior, and the toast was griddle toasted.

We also split a side of corned beef hash (I was HUNGRY, hadn't eaten the day before due to a routine medical test), and it was again scratch made and delicious.

Food came out fast, but we never felt rushed. In fact, we were explicitly told that we were welcome to stay and hang out and be comfortable.

The restaurant was clean and well maintained, and it did not the have that greasy "diner" smell that sticks to your clothes. Bathroom was clean and well maintained.

I'm looking forward to coming back and trying out more of the menu. The benedicts menu and the pancake menu look awesome, and I'd be interested to try their lunch menu too, not to mention their milkshake options!

Iron Town Diner has had a great reputation for years and it lived up to the hype. I understand it has change ownership recently, and I have no affiliation with the new owners or the previous ones. I'm not an influencer and I'm not paid in any way. But I do my research before checking a new place out. I can't comprehend how anyone could rate this restaurant poorly if they had an experience similar to mine. Do yourself a favor and check this place out, you'll be...

I must express just how impressed I was with the dining experience—I have to say, the food was cooked to perfection, showcasing a skillful blend of flavors and textures that truly elevated each dish. The attention to detail in the preparation was evident in every bite, leaving no doubt that the chefs took great pride in their work. Moreover, I was pleasantly surprised by the portion sizes; they were far more generous than I had anticipated, providing exceptional value for the price.

As is often the case when I dine out, I frequently find myself taking leftovers home, but this time was different. The food was so incredibly delightful that it was challenging to stop eating. I found myself savoring each mouthful, relishing the deliciousness far too much to think about saving any for later, which is a true testament to how exceptional the meal was.

Additionally, the overall atmosphere of the restaurant contributed significantly to my positive experience. The space was immaculate and exuded a warm, inviting ambiance that made it a comfortable place to enjoy a meal. There was no sense of being rushed through my dining experience; rather, it felt relaxed and family-oriented. The staff played a crucial role in creating this welcoming environment—they made me feel right at home, ensuring that my needs were met without hovering or being intrusive while I enjoyed my meal.

Everything about my visit was just perfect, from the flawless service to the mouthwatering food that kept me coming back for more. I can already tell that I will be returning in the near future, especially with the prospect of indulging in their delicious apple pie once again. It’s safe to say that this restaurant has secured a special place in my...
