McDonald's — Restaurant in Saugus

Absolutely atrocious service at this McDonald’s. I placed my order on a Friday night, expecting standard fast food timing — but instead, I waited 45 minutes and never even got my food.

Waited 30 mins for someone to come to the drive thru. Placed an order for mocha frappe and a sprite. Went up to the window - cashier proceeds to tell me mocha frappe machine is down and I said it’s fine just give me the sprite. Once I got up to the second window - waited over 10 mins and no one showed up so I just drove off without getting a drink I paid for. Unacceptable service.

Let that sink in: FORTY-FIVE. MINUTES. For McDonald’s.

What makes it worse? No apology. No explanation. Just chaos behind the counter, rude staff avoiding eye contact, and confused customers everywhere wondering where their orders were. I get that Friday nights can be busy, but this was total disorganization and indifference.

If you can’t handle basic operations — like taking an order and fulfilling it — then shut the place down. This is not a restaurant, it’s a time-wasting black hole of frustration and hunger. No wonder the drive thru line is in complete disarray.

This place is something else, while waiting inside I'm listening to an employee coughing behind the counter, not just a quick cough, a consistent cough, like come on. Long lines, long waits, food usually wrong, miserable employees wow. My fault I keep going back because it's close to me and open. Tonight in the drive-thru I watch the worker hand food to the car in front of me, they keep it for about a minute, then give it back, the worker at the window takes it back..... Global pandemic guys come on that's illegal to take food back through the window without worrying about germs, or whatever really. Then I go up to the window, are they giving me the bag of food they just gave to the people in front of me? I don't know but I'm not eating that. Waste of time and money here. No management, nobody in charge, everyone pretends they don't understand what your saying, you must understand me if you're taking the food orders though right?! To expensive to keep getting messed up orders. Honestly besides the bathroom being open inside this place is...

McDonald's Review - 127 Broadway 1 South, Saugus, MA

I recently visited the McDonald's at 127 Broadway in Saugus, and unfortunately, it was one of the dirtiest fast food establishments I've ever encountered. I had to stay because the kids really wanted McDonald's, but I was taken aback by the state of the dining facility. Not only was the trash overflowing, but there were also mice running around, which is utterly unacceptable in any dining environment.

None of the tables were clean, making it an uncomfortable experience to try and enjoy a meal. This is definitely not the McDonald's we used to love as kids. The overall hygiene and cleanliness of this location are severely lacking, and it detracts from the McDonald's brand's reputation. I left without wanting to stay any longer.
