I’ve been in Savage for 10 years and have frequently came here. Asian bowl used to be much better but I can tell it’s become a cost cutting restaurant. My last 2 or 3 times getting my favorite Kung Pao chicken has been a bad experience. She’s replacing chicken for boat loads of roasted nuts. The proportions are all wrong and it’s gotten way saltier than it ever used to be. This place has always had good prices but a good price doesn’t mean anything if the food doesn’t taste good.

Very good food, and nice staff. Have been here twice and it's been consistently great. Make sure to ask for your receipt though. Pretty sure we were over charged last time we were in and we received 3 orders of doughnuts when we ordered 2. LOL was enough to last a week. Portions are good sized and large enough to split. Fun to get a couple and try some of each. Beef Pod Thai, and beef lo mein are my family's favorites.

This is one of my wife’s and my favorite Chinese restaurants in the Twin Cities. Some of our favorites here include the Chung King Chili Chicken, fried chicken wings, beef chow fun and wontons in chili oil. If you can’t handle spicy food, be sure to ask for mild. Asking for medium can still be quite intense and get you sweating.

WHERE DO I BEGIN- FRESH, HOT, PROMPT. Wanted to take mom out. Googled places close...Nah- Need a change. So figured Savage is only a few miles away, A.B. had good reviews- so we did it! So hungry, called to order whn we were 2 miles away, even though we planned on dining there. Got there, realized not really a "dine-in" type place- small w/ no restrooms-Bummer. Hurried home to Bville, got comfortable & Food was still hot! And prepared fast but NOT fast food. Fresh Cilantro and beautiful shrimp in my Pad Thai; Mom-who can be a TOUGH critic- kept ranting & raving over her "well-seasoned" Pepper Steak gravy. (I actually ordered a side of Chicken Fried Rice in case she'd complain. It turned out to be enough as a full meal by itself). Fried rice wasn't overpowered but yet could taste every bite- perfect balance- no white rice showing. WILL b taking the rest to lunch tomrw. and RETURNING AGAIN! So glad I randomly...

First time trying and did not disappoint! Service was quick and the food was surprisingly fresh and hot, since it took only 5 min to get it after ordering inside! Wontons were crispy and light (did not reek or taste of oil, just yum) and the portion on the shrimp lo mein and Mongolian beef created much value for the money! Lo mein noodles were cooked nicely, and the flavor from those plus a bit of their chili oil was a match made in heaven. And this coming from someone that’s not a heavy Chinese food eater! And there’s still quite a bit left over for lunch tomorrow, for BOTH of us! To say nothing of the Mongolian beef, which was eaten all in one go, cuz why not and really, how do you even stop when your taste buds are...

For the past year , from 2012 through yesterday once a week I ordered this exceptional food in terms of taste, service, quality n quantity. It is with a lot of regret I once again have to look for that personalized proud service Mom and Pop type operations bring. Over the past couple months this wonderful community food service has deteriorated in quality a lot. Initially I though oh just a couple of bad runs, no it has been consistent. The owner himself would deliver while his wife and partner would take orders etc. I so hope others would also provide feedback in asking them to resist the temptation to maximize profits and preserve their quality; as I have so enjoyed and bragged about our...
