Brand New Recent Owner. Friendly, exceptional customer service and product knowledge. Clean environment. Beautiful outlook. Pictures of the beautiful country Vietnam hanging all over the wall. Gorgeous fengshui. I should’ve written a review sooner as I keep coming back to try new things.
Pork chop rice platter is tasty. Doesn’t come with the broth that I’m traditionally used to; however, when I asked him, he kindly brought me a side of the broth and didn’t charge me extra. I’d highly recommend the pork chop rice platter and make sure to ask for the side of broth with it. It’s all “homemade” and authentic tasting. It comes with the egg soufflé meatloaf and vegetables.
I’ve also tried the pho which is fabulous. Everything in it is homemade even the noodles. Im used to preserved noodles that most restaurants use so trying this pho with homemade noodles was a delightful treat. One can really taste the difference. Broth is amazing and the meatballs are the ones I love. It doesn’t have the tripe chewy stuff in it. It’s the actual right kind of beef meatballs.
The short ribs platter is one of the best I’ve ever tried. The flavor is perfect and it’s grilled so tastes so yummy. It also comes with rice and vegetables and an egg. Makes me feel like it’s summer time until I leave and see snow going to my car.
I love each time that I stop in, they offer a new chicken wing special. I’ve tried the salt and pepper wings, Asian zing, and Lemmon grass wings - all three were extremely good.
I definitely recommend this unique beautiful restaurant as I plan to continue coming here. Cafe Su Dah is yummy. He even knows how to make Syntho Caffe.
My daughters sweet 16 is coming up and we’ve hired this place to cater it. He will even deliver which i think is extremely helpful. I hope more companies try him out and look into the B&Pho to cater their events as this restaurant is yummy and reasonably price or cheap considering the quality of food. They use the best ingredients - and all from the USA which is cool to learn as the quality and taste is definitely there.
Cam Un Bahn - thank you...
Read moreAs a St. Paulite who loves Vietnamese food, I need to start reckoning with the fact that there are now Vietnamese restaurants in the suburbs that are as good as those in the two Twins. I don’t get south of the Metro very often, but I stopped here today after running an errand in Burnsville. I was hungry and checked Google Maps for Vietnamese restaurants in the area. This one came out with top ratings, so I stopped by.
This is a nice, clean restaurant! The employee working the front was very nice. The menu is small and solidly Vietnamese – you won’t find any Chinese/Thai fusion items on the menu. Just pho, bun, and rice plates. So, you know where the focus is.
I got a noodle salad with egg rolls and grilled shrimp. It was DELICIOUS. The ingredients were super fresh, and the portion size was quite large; if I weren’t so hungry, I don’t think I could’ve finished it. I really wanted to try the pho because it was so cold and rainy, but winter is coming, and I definitely plan to stop back here, even if I don’t have any errands in the area and live over 20 miles away.
If you love Vietnamese food, you will love the delicious simplicity...
Read moreWent here to eat pho but I was really disappointed the broth does not have much flavor. It was water down beef flavor like they don’t take long to boil their broth and just add beef flavor into H2O. I never have to add salt to my pho ever in my life and this time I had to since the taste was very water down. I thought pho suppose to be their specialty since the store is called “The best pho” for a reason. I think the store name is misleading to lure people in but they won’t receive returning customers at least those who know what good pho broth taste like. The service wasn’t that great too. The server was nice but he didn’t care to come back and check how the food is, refill my water or ask if I needed anything. The portion was ok but I was hoping more pho for what I paid for. It was a new place so I thought I give a try but...
