it was really good and everything was reasonably priced, came out here to have lunch with my dad and brother. i had the pork eggrolls they were bigger than i expected but they were absolutely delicious and so crispy loved it. the pho was super good as well i got steak n brisket and they give you a good amount of meat i normally have to order large at other establishments but here the regular bowl will get you full! my dad wasnt pleased with his oxtail (hes old and has a big mouth lol) and the lovely waitress was super quick to take it to the back and let them know and she gave us free numpao's / the buns at the register to compromise with my father lol ( wasnt needed but she insisted was so kind of her to do that) i definitely would recommend coming if youre in the savage area it was worth it! also loved the atmosphere it was small but very clean and the small atmosphere made it feel cozy :)

So far I have been ordering takeout. The steamed pork bun and sweet custard bun are spot on for the flavor and texture. Filings for both are generous too and reasonably priced. Had also tried their beef chow fun. It lacks 'wok hei' but makes it up in well balanced taste and generous portion. Update: In my most recent visit, there is a remarkable improvement with their beef chow fun. Great wok hei and beef slices are nicely seared. Best chow fun in town with the best value! Hope they keep that up! Update #2: Ordered egg noodles with seafood for a change from the owner's recommendation. Generous seafood portion and fresh. Flavor just right. Not heavy. Reasonably priced too. Certainly worth it! Ordered wonton and BBQ pork wonton noodle soup as 2nd dish. Tasted good too. The noodle portion a bit small if you come in with dinner appetite.

Decided to stop by this hidden gem after the Christmas in Color drive through with a huge group and the server was really nice. Spring rolls were decent and the egg rolls were good. Pad Thai was ok considering this is a fusion restaurant. The special pho comes in a really big bowl but not that much noodles or meats, bun bo hue on the other hand has a ton of noodles. Service is really slow but I’m not sure if it’s because they wanted to serve all the smaller tables first (arrived after us) or all the take out orders they were getting. There is a parking lot that is shared with the rest of the businesses on the strip. The door is literally right next to the Mexican ice cream shop so don’t pull the wrong door.

I ate at this restaurant a few times, but the last visit was very disappointing. The service was very disappointing. Long story short, the waitress got my order wrong and did not take responsibility, but kept insisting I made that order. On top of that, I was being charged for the wrong order even though I did not eat it.

Full story: I had ordered an egg noodle dish, and with this dish, you can have it dried style or soup-style. With the dumplings, you can have them either deep-fried or steamed.

When I ordered the dish, the waitress asked me if I wanted steamed or deep-fried dumplings. I answered steamed, but she never asked me if I wanted it to be dried or soup-style. Knowing that she didn’t ask, I specified that I wanted my noodles dry with my broth on the side.

I was brought out a bowl of soup on the side with tripe inside which I questioned, but I didn’t think much of it because I had thought it was my soup on side the side. Then my egg noodle dish was brought out with soup inside as well (soup-style). I told the waitress that I had ordered the noodles dried-style and she responded that that dish comes with soup and that I had ordered a side of soup with tripe inside. I told her that I had ordered the dried-style with the soup on the side. She insisted that I ordered the tripe and apologized. She never offered for my dish to be remade or took responsibility. I work as a waitress myself so understand that mistakes can happen, but offering to remake a dish is always an option if the waitress gets the order wrong. I could have asked for my order to be remade, but I didn’t want to make it difficult for her, so I just ate the food.

I came up to pay at the register and found out I was also charged for this bowl of soup on the side. I spoke with the server and they kept insisting that I had to pay. For more context, I did not even touch the soup bowl with tripe. I don’t like tripe so it was just sitting there. I should have known better and returned the bowl of soup.

The waitresses helping me both had an attitude when I was speaking to them. It’s understandable that the waitress might have misheard my order as it seems that her English was not too great. I was greatly disappointed with their effort of trying to solve the problem even though they got my order wrong and I accepted it anyway. It was fine that they didn’t offer to remake my dish, but making me pay for the bowl of soup that I didn’t order was pushing it. They did end up taking the soup off my bill, but with attitude and after...

Friend suggested this establishment for our food needs. Staff attentiveness and observation were lacking. Not greeted or even a basic hand gesture to sit anywhere. When we decided to just seat ourselves it took a bit before a server came to us. At the end I had to snag a busser to get a to go box because they left us alone for the rest of the mean side refilling water. Luckily the food speaks for itself.

Didn't go with my usual, switched up the fresh spring rolls for the steamed pork bun. It was soft and delicate but that was about it for this bun. All carb and low seasoned innards.

Iced coffee seemed a bit small and I could've used a bit more bitterness from the espresso, however it's a guilty pleasure so can't fully knock it.

Now. The main event. Bun. Bo. Hue. Largest helping I've seen and almost beat my favorite spot. If I just looked at this dish comparatively... It might be the best I've had. You don't need to add garnish sauces because the broth was perfect. Large chunks of tender meat. No actual ham hock bone and the Vietnamese sausage they used I wasn't thrilled with.

My friend thoroughly enjoyed his noodle dish of grilled beef and egg roll. Did look...

Awesome food! I stumbled into this restaurant after a trip to Valleyfair with my kids. We ordered the rare beef pho and sweet and sour chicken for the kids. The food is amazing! The broth in the pho is fresh and has great balance. Surprisingly, since it was her first time trying it, my daughter turned out to be a huge fan of the pho as well - she was quickly given an additional small bowl so I could give her some of her own. The wait staff is attentive and sincere. It was so good I had to bring my dad a week or two later. He got the cashew chicken (I think) and really enjoyed it. He said he is coming back soon. One thing I would love to see is gluten free options listed, my husband has Celiac's disease and while many of the items look like they are gluten free, or are traditionally gluten free (pho, pad Thai, Vietnamese noodle salads, spring rolls) he cannot risk the chance of soy sauce or another wheat product in his food. Other than that 5 stars, excited to have great pho a little closer...
