Edit went back and it's gone downhill. Quickly. Pretty sad. Was excited for this place and hyped it up. The people I sent there all had terrible experiences. They served us raw food. It looked cooked, but texture was super chewy. Found out that raw in the inside. They offered us $4 off because most of the food was eaten. SERIOUSLY?? What a joke!! Pretty sure raw pork is bad for you, but what do I know.
THE ANTICIPATION IS OVER! We have been waiting for this place to open all summer. We were very excited to come check it out on their soft opening day. We got here at an odd hour, so it wasn't very busy (330pm). People started trickling in closer to dinner time. We thought we would beat the crowd and come in early. Walked in and loved how open it was. Decent sized restaurant. They did a really great job in the interior. Great lighting overhead and from the windows. There are about 20 tables give or take. Most tables have a grill so you can cook on your own. THIS PLACE IS NOT ALL YOU CAN EAT, but that's totally OK. Prices are fair and portion sizes were much bigger than expected. We ordered the amount of food we would typically order elsewhere and we were blown away by the portion sizes. We definitely left full and happy. We ordered the tangsuyuk (sweet and sour pork), LA galbi, pork belly, and chuck flap. If you've ever had tangsuyuk, you'd like this one! Very light breading, small pork chunks, and the flavor of the sweet and sour wasn't too overbearing. Everything was super tender and flavorful. Really enjoyed grilling at the table. The bonchon is unlimited. Good anount of side dishes to snack on! As for the service, it was great! Chanel was amazing and so bubbly! She had great recommendations and very attentive! Everyone seemed friendly! One of the managers came by to check on us, which was nice! We had no complaints just compliments. Would highly recommend people to check this place out! This is definitely the better place we've been to in Minnesota! Thanks for the great experience and service guys! WILL BE COMING Back! Really love supporting local businesses and something...

Right next door to Asian Direct off Hwy 13.
FOOD - excellent! I really tried as much as I could. They have apps + bowls + signature dishes + soups + bbq/hot pot a la carte or in prefix meat combos. This is NOT an AYCE restaurant. Oh, and dessert.
Nancy, our most fabulous server, talked me out of the kimchi fried rice & into the gogi fried rice. She just helped me find my favorite friend rice in the south of metro. I got the combination and added shrimp. Basically all the proteins available. It was light, flavorful & offered a nice crunch from their crispy aspect. I see myself grabbing this + the wings on the way home for a quick meal.
Look, everything the fam & I had was incredible. Out of everything the only thing that I wasn’t impressed about was the steamed egg. Wasn’t bad at all, just didn’t leave a lasting impression like everything else.
SERVICE - you’d think this place had been open for years. Impeccable. Season vets are running around here giving their best & it shows. I don’t think I could get my beverage half empty before it was refilled. Not that I would rip on a new establishment on a soft opening night, I’d only offer helpful feedback, but I will praise superbness right out the gates and that is what I got. Nancy, Dao and the rest of the team took very exceptional care of us. Y’all rock!
Things to consider…beer, wine & soju is coming very soon. They don’t have quite everything on the menu just yet. Such as, not all their seafood is in a few select cuts of meat aren’t available just yet. Those missing items didn’t lessen my beautiful experience one bit.
Pricing is up there. With most dishes being in the 16-30 range. It is best to go in a group of 4 and share.
Ventilation is great with hoods high above each grill station. You’re still going to smell like bbq though.
Takeout available Reservations are NOT accepted at this time. 1st come 1st serve. No bar or bar seats. Just BBQ/Hot Pot tables.
Definitely...
Read moreMy husband and I went on a weekend around 12pm. We waited about 5 minutes before being seated. The banchan (side dishes) were already set on the table before we got seated which was different from other restaurants but not bad.
We got the combo 1 KBBQ ($84). The pork belly was dry and tasteless. It wasn't giving off it's usual fatty goodness when you first bite into it. The marinated beef and pork was pretty good. My biggest issue with this was the fact that the heat was set too high so it would burn the marinade. When it was cooked well, it tastes good, enough to not need additional sides with it. When it's burnt, all I could taste was the burnt marinade. We would try to move the meat to the side avoiding the high head in the middle but it still burned the meat. The amount you get for the price is absurd. If you have a small appetite, it might feed you and your plus one (or two). But if you have a pretty large appetite and can eat a lot normally, it will not be enough for you. On the menu it says the KBBQ comes with complimentary soup AND steamed eggs. But when we ordered, they only allowed ONE OR THE OTHER. We got the steamed eggs which was delightful.
We also ordered the Rabokki ($38). It was very mushy. The instant ramen noodles was submerged under everything so it over cooked by the time it came to a boil. The variety of ingredients put into this dish in my opinion is not enough to charge that much (they even forgot our hard-boiled eggs!). Especially since a good portion of it would get stuck and burn at the bottom. The taste overall was sweet gochujang (hot pepper paste). The taste was very one dimensional.
My favorite thing out of our entire meal were the side dishes...which is saddening to say.
Service was fast and our waitress was very attentive. We would get our grill changed out constantly, water and side dishes quickly refilled.
Overall - if you're trying get your kbbq fix (and on a budget) I don't...
