After today's interaction, I'm done with this Sonic location. The employees are clearly burned out and lacking sufficient staffing or proper social skills training. Today, all of the drive-in stalls were roped off. Fine, we put in a mobile order to go anyway, so I continued through the drive thru. I asked the lady at the window how to check in on the mobile app with no stalls open for service. I already tried 1, 2, 6, 44, and 66. I got an error each time. Simple question really, but Instead of helping me, she dismissed me and told me that she couldn't help me, and that the order doesn't go through until someone is checked into a stall anyway. I told her I already saw a confirmation come through on Gpay, so that doesn't seem correct, I was charged electronically already, for sure. I asked her for the drinks on the order we already paid for and showed her the order confirmation. Instead, she slammed the door in my face and got the manager. He told me he doesn't deal with the app, He dismissed my simple question and said the problem with the app is just me because all these other people used it just fine. I shrugged it off and asked for the order I already paid for online. I showed him the error on the app, and that it is clearly reproducible. I asked him what I should do to get our order. He then accused ME of having an attitude! (Seriously, the only attitude I have is thirst!) Instead of giving us our order, he slammed the door in my face. He eventually came back and handed me part of my money back in cash without saying anything. I asked him if this meant he was refusing service. Read moreI use to enjoy coming here until 5-22-2021 at 1230pm. My wife and I decided to stop there to eat for our date day meal. We pulled up at a menu board. And hit the red order button. Which says then ' Button activated someone will be with you soon. We literally waited 10 minutes and still no one so I called there just to find out only the drive threw was open.. They didn't bother posting this. So then I pulled into the drive threw and placed our order. I specifically told the order taker I wanted onion rings with both our combo's and barbecue sauce. They even repeated it correctly. But as we parked in the lot to eat we noticed we only got one onion ring and no sauce. Instead somehow we got a tater tot. So I went in the only door available that says employees only. And I give the guy a bag with the tots and explains my order. He was decent about my frustration. But then before he could finish helping me another younger male behind the grill got snotty with me and told me I had to leave as I went threw a employee only door. I then stated I wouldn't of had to if they made my order correctly and it would of helped if they had posted that they were only doing drive threw. I then went outside and waited which was close to 10 minutes and finally got my onion rings. As that same guy came out and handed me the bag with no apology. But instead he walked away calling me a fuen ahole. Read moreUpdate on 9/28/2021 - We decided to give this Sonic one last try, and yes, WE WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN. We ordered using the app, pulled into a stall, checked-in, and then proceeded to wait 45 minutes. We then pushed the red button and they instructed us that if we wanted food, we'd have to pull up into the drive-thru line as they were too busy to bring food out. We then waited in the drive thru line another 20 minutes before getting to the window. When we got the food, our slushes were complete water and the chili had fully hardened onto our tots. The lettuce was brown and slimy on our sandwiches. What a waste of time!!!
Date of Visit: 1/10/20 - We pushed the red button at 6:44PM, our order was taken at 6:49PM, our food was received at 7:04PM but was missing items, missing items received at 7:14PM - and there was only 3 cars parked and 2 cars in the drive-thru! Overall, a fairly unpleasant experience. As we were placing our order, we heard someone in a neighboring car yelling at the carhop. The carhop brought out food/beverages to the car 5 different times throughout the time we were there...and we arrived after their meal was initially brought out to them. Not sure if Sonic brought them entirely the wrong meal, or if the car was just extraordinarily particular; but based upon our experience, I would assume that the restaurant got the order wrong. Do not visit this Sonic location if you want your food fast. I've been here numerous times in the past (either drive thru, walk up, or drive in) and they're ALWAYS slow.
