Donna's Delicious Delights — Restaurant in Savannah

I give this place 5 stars as it's one of my most favorite Savanah spots to eat, especially when it come to deserts. Everytime I walk through the door I am greeted like family, the good family members you like to see coming. Lol They always have a warm smile on their face as they help you select what you are craving for. With that being said let me tell you about the best cupcakes in Georgia yes Georgia maybe even the south, however I'll stick to Georgia :) My favorite cupcake is the key lime you can have it with nuts or without nuts. It has the most moist flavor, I wonder when do they have the time to go pick them from Key West because that's just how good they taste. I'm also a very big fan of their mini sweet potato pies. I'm always getting them because they remind me of my mother's & grandmother recipe. When in Savanah I always stop her for Donna's Delicious Delights. They close early so don't waste any time...

Crab and shrimp salad, corn muffina and the desserts are top tier. Everything else that we have tasted from the hot food selection via hamburger steak, turkey wings, bake chicken, smothered shrimps are basic. You can cook that at home. The rice is a little under cooked. The macaroni is good, corn muffin is good, all vegetable choices are average( you can cook it at home). The hot food is always hot to temperature ..GOOD! THE QUANTITY OF FOOD THEY GIVE YOU FOR THE PRICE IS SMALL ESPECIALLY SINCE THE TASTE IS VERY ACERAGE( NO NEED TO SLAP YA MAMA)🤣AGAIN, if you just want a hot meal you'll be fine. Highly unsatisfactory on customer service. I ordered 2 cake slices with a cupcake & the $10 lunch special which includes 3 sides. For my sides, I ordered double mac & cheese with sweet peas. Got my order and it was 2 sides of sweet pea & 1 side of mac & cheese. Mind you my receipt said 2 sides of mac with 1 side of green peas. The bald blonde hair lady refuse to correct my order & said I have to pay $2 extra. The correct way to have handle it was to correct my order. The young man that placed my order never informed me it'll be extra for 2 of the same sides. He just said I get 3 sides what would u like your sides to be. I won't return or recommend...
