Moodright’s (21 & Up) — Restaurant in Savannah

DISCLAIMER!!! This place is usually awesome. Friendly staff / awesome environment. Tonight not the case. Walked in on Monday 2/14 with my two dogs. There were two other dogs in the bar, one was well behaved, the other hated all dogs on the face of the earth and proceeded to aggressively bark at my two dogs as I approached the bar. The bartender greeted me with “just so you know there are know dogs after 8pm”. It was barely 7pm. I told her “cool no problem” and she proceeded to walk away and help everyone else that walked in/up to the bar after me before scolding me for the other guys dog barking at my dogs. At this point it has been over 10min since I was standing at the bar waiting to be served. So I said “okay if it’s a big deal we can leave..?” Which she replied “okay great!”.

As someone who works in the service industry and deals with patrons with dogs on a daily basis I am super disappointed with this woman’s interaction. She clearly was in a bad mood, and wanted an empty bar so she could sulk all alone on...

Moodrights/Over Yonder are the epicenter of local Savannah. and they just might be the only place with solid late-night food in the Starland district.

Moodrights is the front bar, facing Abercorn and Over Yonder is in the back. They serve a different purpose, but with their powers combined this is one of the best bars this side of the Mississippi.

Go to Moodies for duckpin bowling, pool tables, bingo. Head on back to Over Yonder for live music, SUNBOY Spiked Coconut Water, the most simple and delicious tofu rice bowl, and boiled peanuts.

The decor is made up of perfectly curated memorabilia from all over the US. Both the front and the back have a little outdoor seating for smoking or getting some fresh air when you need a change of scenery. Love these bars and can’t wait to run into you here! Definitely try a SUNBOY when...

The best new bar in savannah. Far from downtown so it stays away from the insane mess that is downtown Savannah, the bartenders are all extremely genuine gals and guys that know how to treat patrons and mix a good Moodrights cocktail. Pool, duckpin bowling, and plenty of board games to choose from guarantees a fun relaxed night every night. If those aren’t your style theres bingo night, and league bowling nights too.
