Quiky's Famous BBQ — Restaurant in Savannah

We stopped back in today. Again these people are amazing. Personalities, service and quality is amazing. Something you don't see much nowadays. We took an out of town trip a month ago and wanted some BBQ. We stopped at Jim & Nicks. The whole time we were there we compared Quicky BBQ to Jim & Nicks... Let me tell you, there is no comparison. Quicky beats them across the board. The only thing J&N has Quicky's doesn't is a dining room. The personalities, customer service and quality of Quicky is far superior to anything J&N can offer. In our minds it's the only BBQ in. We will drive out of our way if we are in Savannah to get BBQ from them. They have a large menu and unbeatable prices. If you are looking for true BBQ it's worth the trip...

Pulled up to the place the outside area seemed intimidating but dont judge a book by its cover. My husband and I ordered from the walk up window. The owner was very friendly. My husband ordered the oxtails, red rice, hush puppies and mac n cheese, I had the lamb, potato salad and green beans. Everything we had on our plate was delicious it was so good we forgot to take a pic to show you the plates we ordered..lol. But the food was well seasoned and so flavorful we will definitely be back..Kudo's to the cooks hands down the food was on point.. Now this is the type of food you brag about even the portions was satisfying...A...

When I tell you it's good it's good but this here???GREAT! The price is spoiling us compared to the portion (you can get charged twice as much for less than half and tastes like paper towels in bbq sauce at other places). One bite and you know you gotta protect your leftovers with your life, if you think you don't like lamb you're going to end up loving it, and make sure you get that mac and cheese as a side!
