Updating my one star review from three years ago to a 3 star review.
I placed a mobile order for five people and headed to the Wendy’s about a mile from my house. When I arrived at the drive-thru, I was told they were short-staffed and not taking orders. I mentioned that I had already placed a mobile order, and while they easily could have just refunded it, they kindly offered to go ahead and prepare the food if I didn’t mind waiting.
The young man at the window was incredibly sweet and considerate—I offered to park, but he allowed me to stay in line, and the food was ready quicker than I expected, which I appreciated. His whole demeanor was upbeat and positive especially when he was under a stressful situation.
Unfortunately, things went downhill from there. A woman I believe was the manager came to the window and, while handing me the food, was noticeably slurring her words and mixing them up. I truly hope it was just exhaustion and not a medical or other issue, but it was concerning.
The food quality wasn’t great either—fries and nuggets were cold and clearly not freshly made. They also forgot the kids’ meal toys, which left my 3- and 5-year-old heartbroken. We rarely get fast food, so the toys are a special treat they really look forward to. The Baconator, however, was hot and delicious. I've never had one before and it easily became my favorite fast food burger. The pull apart Cinnabons were fantastic as well.

Was there last night around 1115-1130pm after getting off work from working over 11 hours, hungry wanting something quick. The staff was very very unprofessional and not welcoming at all. I understand it’s close to closing time but that’s no excuse. The person that took my order on the speaker was rude and had an attitude. When I got to the window to pay she didn’t know what my order was, once I paid she said nothing; not even after I said thank you, just looked at me and walked away. Once I got to the window to get my food, they didn’t know what I ordered either. Gave me a wrong order and then started pulling food out the bag and putting other food in. At least she said you’re welcome when I said thank you. When I finally get home and sit down to eat the food was terrible. I ordered $5 Biggie Bag with double stack with no onions. Order was wrong. I got a cheese burger that had very hard bread, meat was hard and cold, and cheese was cold and not melted; fries cold and hard; and the 4 count nuggets only hard 3 oh they were hard and cold also. The only thing that was right was the bottle of water. The food was not edible. Absolutely nasty food! Read moreOrdered a double baconator with mustard only. I get home to find that for some reason they figured that meant I didn't want bacon. If I had just wanted a double cheese burger, I would have ordered that instead of a BACONATOR. Epic fail Wendy's. Epic fail.
Edit (1 year later): This Wendy's has the absolutely worst customer service, by a mile. They are always rude. Never a thank you. Never a you're welcome. Between two people, they spoke 10 words to me and acted like they couldn't believe I was keeping them from scrolling on their phone (literally, the lady at the first window who just told me to "pull forward" but didn't tell me where, at there on her phone and when she noticed I had stopped, she just stood up, kept the window shut, and pointed to the next window, all while looking at me like I was an idiot). Poor management, obviously.
Edit again: strike 3. Never again. Sat at the drive thru order station for four minutes with not a word said to me. I kept saying hello, no answer. I drive around and park to go in. As soon as I get in, the car that had been behind me had already ordered and pulled up to the window. No one would take my order inside, even after I complained about sitting there forever waiting.
