I was willing to give this place a chance, really nice atmosphere, so close to home, good reviews… My color experience wasn’t great, the poor girl got my color wrong, but redid it and the match was ultimately great. Unfortunately my sensitive scalp didnt enjoy this at all and over 3 hours in the salon wasn’t fun. I get it, things like that happen, especially when you’re learning. My son got his hair cut by another person, and the next day, we noticed his bangs are crooked. To the point my 14 years was upset and wanted it fixed. When I called to squeeze in a fix (and address an under-tipping, and perhaps schedule my husband for a cut- again, willing to give this place a shot!), I was greeted with a sigh that was interpreted as annoyed, “an opening at 2, or next Tuesday” (5 days later) At this point, I’ll fix it myself, instead of offering for us to pop in, squeeze in between clients, or anything to address a bad hair cut. But alas, kinda poor customer service, lots of inexperience… and with my overall experience, I’ve decided to cancel our future appt...
Read moreI have been using this salon's service since the beginning of the year. The hairstylist Kimberly Oakes was awesome. She knew that I was nervous with coloring my hair for the 1st time and she suggested a wash which worked out wonderfully.. She was very personable and I would recommend her to anyone. On the other hand the manager or owner Lindsey is obnoxious. I had to cancel my appointment in less than 24 hours as I was very sick. I was infected with covid in May of this year and I am now a long copied sufferer. When I called I asked for my hairstylist and the person that came on the phone said her name was Lindsey. She then informed me that I was going to have to pay 50% of my normal bill as a late fee for not calling before 24 hours. Normally every time I go to their salon I spend $150 to $200 and 50% would be $75 to a $100 late fee. She was incredibly rude when I told her that I was not feeling. I will not return to this salon ever and I do not recommend this...
Read moreAdmittedly, I'm a scared-y cat when it comes to anyone touching my hair from previous bad experiences, but I have nothing but wonderful things to say about my appointment! I scheduled a consultation with Alyssa and she was thorough and offered to cut my hair on the spot that day. Alyssa took the time to make sure I was comfortable with what we decided on and I left with a head of healthy, properly cut hair for the first time in years! If you're hesistant- I suggest scheduling a consultation and just seeing how wonderful this place is from the receptionists down to the stylists themselves. Thank you for such a welcoming experience - I can't wait...
