Krystal — Restaurant in Savannah

This Krystals on Abercorn near Derenne, is the best even with a line BUT the one near television circle on Abercorn IS THE WORST!!! I live 2 blocks from them but I Rather drive to the one on Abercorn near Derenne or the one on Bee Rd.

On 4/19/21 I had a delivery pick up from here. From the pull up to the ordering board, the customer service lady was just rude, short, nasty in tone. I just brushed it off and said maybe her tone would change once I got to the window, surprise..IT DIDNT. She was more rude, short and nasty in her tone. I told her again I was there to pick up a online delivery, she just slammed the sliding door in my face. When I asked for a cup holder for the 2 drinks, another eye roll and slam of the door, meanwhile the customer text and asked if I could get extra ketchup. I asked her politely and she rudely said "what" and the door slammed again. Normally I meet energy with the energy you give me. But I figure something else was going on with this lady, she just had a mean nasty spirit all over her. Normally there is a younger manager at the window in black who is so polite no matter how busy they are. I don't Normally have problems with this Krystals on abercorn near derenne, but this lady was just nasty in every way. I guess she was the manager, she was in all black. Sometimes I hate my job too but I try not to take it out on the customers I serve. I signed up for what I do. Maybe she should had...

Hooo boy, where to begin. The Drive-thru was slow as molasses, was easily there for over 20 minutes. When I did get to the window however, I found what the issue was. There was only two people I could see, a man in blue, and a woman in back. Now I'm assuming the woman in black was the manager, and she was honestly quite rude. Usually when a place is under-staffed, it's due to toxic management, and I believe that's what's happening here.

The manager in question was an older African-American woman; Couldn't quite see her name tag to get her name, but she was a the window at around 7:30pm tonight on Monday the 17th. I'm saying this because I assume she's the same rude lady who other reviews have mentioned, meaning this is an ONGOING LONG-TERM ISSUE and I want the owner to be able to correctly identify her and correct the issue. Either through sitting her down and talking, or since this has been ongoing, to replace her with someone who has the attitude to handle it. Until then, probably won't return to this location. The one positive I can say is the food was fine...

They “aren’t open” right now. Won’t answer the com for anyone so I drove around to check on them (also work in food service), and she loudly says to the window “NOT OPEN”.

I listened to someone yell over the com last time at a customer so I guess it’s a better day in comparison. :’)

Also, please, don’t try to respond the same way you have been over and over again over the past month like you’re surprised that the Abercorn locations behave this way. Shocker. 20 reviews saying the same thing and you’re “investigating” while the same staff is there, behaving the same way every day. And you want me to call and explain it to you. I think you’ve heard enough to send someone from corporate to try to flip these establishments. Just because whoever is running the Google responses claims deniability doesn’t mean that the establishment doesn’t have...
