Mostly average Mexican-American food. They try really hard, and I appreciate that they try to be authentic. But the food I get often just tastes like generic Mexican food I could get at Muchas Gracias or anywhere.
There are some exceptions (their chipotle chicken is very smoky and adds a lot of flavor), and I will keep trying different things from them until I hopefully can find the amazing item that I love, that is my go-to.
The staff is friendly. The food is prepared to order and done pretty quickly. You get a pretty decent amount of food, about what you'd probably expect.
There is plenty of seating in the restaurant. We usually get our food to go, and usually are offered little containers if we'd like to take some salsa home from their little "salsa bar" (a little wheeled cart with 4-6 salsa and sauce options, if I remember the number correctly).
There's some parking out front in the highway, but there's a lot of parking behind the building in a lot as well, FYI.
In this town, there's not a ton of Mexican food options, so I keep trying. I haven't been wowed yet, but haven't been really disappointed either, and definitely not any...
Read moreMy family and I came to the establishment for our first time we each ordered our own meal. We relocated here for the Midwest to St Helens . We love Mexican food. My husband ordered the fajita combination whenever they brought it to our table, They brought everything and did not include the tortillas which is the main essential part you need for fajitas. We paid $65 for a meal that was disappointing. I myself am half Hispanic and have high standards For authentic Latin cuisine. I wanted to show my husband authentic Mexican food. If you would have put all three of our dishes Our together our six year old daughter could have finished it with room to spare. We hope in the future they try harder. This is a you live and you...
Read moreThis was my second try here for dinner after a mediocre visit the first time. I paid $40 for two enchilada plates and a chicken quesadilla, so I was expecting something delicious. Unfortunately it was not. I noticed on the drive home the chicken smelled strange and when I opened it up there was some kind of brown sauteed onion sauce on top of my enchiladas, it looked nothing like red or green sauce. Then I asked for chips before I left and they tried to charge me for them after paying 40-plus tipping. I didn't even get the chips. I was disappointed and so is my family, I don't recommend and I won't be visiting again. Gave 2 stars because the food was done fast but I don't think that was a good...
