So we entered the place and we were a little late. The closing time on the google maps was 10pm we were there at 9:30 after arguing alot they sat us down. Although am very grateful that they let us in but it wasnât a favor from them, we came at the right time we donât care if the chef leaves or the cleaning starts we saw the closing time and we decided to go here. Two stars for the service is because the manager got us the table his name was jack and he was very kind, while we were eating they werenât checking on us for water, i have to scream excuse me literally 4 times so that one waiter out of three who were gathered up could hear me. Now the food was amazing ngl it felt soothing. We ordered chilli chicken (gravy/curry), chicken basil fried rice, some type of noodles, jalapeños fish. Everything was very delicious and was served in decent portions am very satisfied with the food. Now again there was a problem with the waiter, one thing Iâve noticed is that waiters are naive, i asked a waiter who was serving us a question regarding the fish we got he simply said âI donât knowâ not only this but sometimes he doesnât know the name of the dish which is absolute serving naĂŻvetĂ©. Am not a complaining bad customer i just post honest reviews to help others and also because the restaurant can correct their mistakes. As i said food was exceptional i would suggest this place for food to everyone but i wouldnât be able to guarantee the customer service satisfaction. And last but not the least the ambiance was my fav toođ€€. OMG i love old school woody ambiance for restaurants. Cleanliness was top notch, napkins and silverware felt premium not some dime-store silverware. Bonusđ: the staff also needs to understand seating pattern. We were a group of 4 and wo got a congested table a couple adjacent to us got a way more spacious table than us, again!!! Am not a crying or cribbing customer the table was truly uncomfortable because we all are healthy people not fit, but upon insisting they changed our table.
Finally thank you so much for having us and will be back soon for the food and hoping to notice some betterments in...
   Read moreHorrible customer service! Could not accommodate a table for 5 plus an infant with a stroller, with extra space. Had to fold away the stroller cause they could not give us another booth where there was enough space for servers to walk by with a stroller next to the table!
When asked about hot water to warm a 9oz bottle of milk, the server comes with warm water in a tiny bowl that doesn't fit the bottle! Ridiculous!
Asked for a drink menu, server gave it to us and when placing an order for drinks that's when she says that we cannot make any of the mixed cocktails but just the basics!
Ordered a coke and it never made it to the table. Server never checked on us after we received the food. Can't cancel anything that you've ordered after a few mins cause God happens you change your mind cause the only response you get is âsorry we cant as it's already being made!â I believe you should be able to cancel something you ordered before it comes to your table cause every restaurant does.
All the food was cold when it got to the table! Also wanted to charge extra for a tiny dish of sauce when asked for! Always out of certain items on the menu so they can't make it! Can't even customize the dish according to your taste here!
I get that indian restaurants are in it to make money on the weekends but there is something called customer service for your guests.
If I choose an American restaurant that night, I would have been accommodated for 5 people and an infant in a stroller, server would have made sure everything was correct and was acknowledged about the menu the restaurant was serving. Customer service would have been on point for the special occasion.
Customer service anywhere else, any day over the experience and money spent here! Don't...
   Read moreOrdered carry out order for Diwali party. Had Manchurian with gravy in big tray for which they charge $150 for the tray. Picked up the food and the Manchurian didn't come with plain white rice which if you eat at the restaurant it is included. Even you pick up single order of manchurian it comes with plain white rice but it is NOT included with $150 tray. The guy at counter said I will have to pay $75 extra for small tray of white rice. Spend $500 on catering order and when asked for chili and hot sauce on side, the guy said I will have to pay for it. But if you eat at the place, you DON'T. Don't bother placing big catering order here, take your business somewhere else where your business is appreciated and you are not given an attitude.
Updated review in response to the owners comment::::;
Thanks for the response. You are not looking at the big pic, The question is why the white rice was not included with the tray of Manchurian while it is given complimentary while dine or single order? By the way, he did originally said it will be $75 for the half tray of white rice. To respond to your Chilli sauce comment, when placing the order, the guy said I will have to pay extra for any sauce but then agreed to give me one free bottle. But then when the white rice goof up happened, he realized that I was upset and he agreed to charge less for the rice and agreed to give me one more bottle of sauce.
Regardless, he needs to work on how he communicates with customers. It's not like I was asking him to do me a favor. It's like ordering a tray of samosa but then I have to pay for chutney situation.
But you are more focused on how prove the customer wrong rather how to improve the customer's experiance, and this mentality won't help...
