This is THE best and the only place I have shopped and will be to shop in future for any wedding occasion needs, or engagements etc.. as it's a one stop place for any traditional indian dresses, sarees, etc.... that you are looking for, including the jewelry that matches or contrasts with the dresses, or sarees as well as traditional indian shoes for men that goes with the sherwanis too, she carries it all and if one can't find what they are looking for she will definitely get it ordered for you and ship it out to your place as well if you do not live near the Chicago area....I had driven 4 hours to get the shopping done for sherwanis for my husband and kids for an upcoming wedding and had checked all the reviews online before I left for chicago and had found bombay boutique with great reviews, so instead going on devon Avenue and hopping from one clothing store to another and wasting my time, I decided to give bombay boutique a try as I had already seen the great reviews and let me tell you....They are my family's favorite now!!!! THE BEST!!! And the owner PRITI and her husband really know how to take care of their clients, SO patient with us and helpful with everything that my kids wanted to try on. This was the first time I have ever shopped for sherwanis for my kids(15 and 20 yr olds) and they both loved Priti's selection of the latest styles of sherwanis.....Thankyou again Priti for an awesome shopping experience and special ordering the extra dhoti pieces I wanted, can't wait to get...

Where would I begin to explain

1. This is not a store, this is at someone’s basement, which is kinda sketchy and I should have left the place immediately, I wanted to give it a try because of all the great reviews.

2. The owner or the salesperson or whomever you want to call, that woman was completely rude. Their website has so many kurtas for varying prices and sizes, but that’s not the case when I went into the store.

3. There’s no changing room. The owner/salesperson told us that the quality of the material would be bizarre for clothes in the range of $70.

4. Off all those things, they don’t accept cards, they accept only cash or Venmo or Bank transfer, which means that they don’t have to pay taxes on their sale, but as a customer you do pay taxes.

If you wanna go to an Indian clothing store with more collections and want to get amazing clothing for reasonable prices please check this “Panache The Emporium Shop” which is like 5 minutes drive from this place and their owner Arti is amazing the welcome we receive and the time that woman takes to get everything delivered is amazing.

BEWARE OF THIS PLACE. DON’T GET FOOLED BY THESE...

My husband and I went to Bombay Boutique looking for outfits for an upcoming wedding after spending most of the day checking other local stores and shops in Chicago. We were surprised that they carried a great selection of options in stock for my husband because most stores had to special order his size. They asked us if we found anything we liked on the website and we showed them the outfit we both liked. To our surprise they had the exact outfits in our sizes which we were able to try on. They also brought out other options and were very patient with us. They did not try to up sell other items which we greatly appreciated. We purchased both outfits and were very pleased overall with the quality and service we received. The prices were reasonable and my husband greatly appreciated that the whole shopping experience was very quick (less than 30 mins) and we got exactly what we wanted.We will...
