Bathrooms: the bathrooms are very clean, and probably what you would expect. However, their soap dispenser ran out of soap, and one of the employees put in a soap bottle from inside their cooking area.
Customer Service: the lady at the front was very friendly and very helpful and helping us order our food! I got an opportunity to converse with her in Spanish, and she even helped me improve my fluency! 🇲🇽
Wait Time: I believe it took us 20 minutes to wait for our food after we ordered, but I suppose it’s not too big of a deal.
Ambiance: the space here is quiet, and very relaxing. Probably the best place to go to after a busy day!
Facilities: I believe they have Wi-Fi, but other than that, nothing else too special.
Product Quality/Value: I believe the food here was probably the best in the entire area because the food was so immaculately cooked and prepared that it felt like a golden experience when I tried my first margarita here!
Accessibility: there is no built-in accommodations for those with disabilities, but I believe if you knock on the door, the people inside will be more than happy to help you out.
Parking: there are a lot of spots next to the restaurant, but beware, the lines are very hard to see, so make sure you be careful.
Crowd Levels: when I dined there, there was only another family inside, so it is very spacious in there.
Cleanliness: the place there was very clean, and I believe they take the best care to make this place great!
Signage: there was a sign that says that there is no bathroom, but inside, I did see a bathroom. Other than that, it is...
Read moreOne of the few restaurants we found open late after a long day in the city. We were starving and decided to give this little spot a try. Although we were hesitant at first—the parking lot was completely empty—the staff was friendly and welcoming. That said, our experience was a mix of both being impressed and disappointed.
My overall impression is that the focus seemed more on maximizing the bill than on delivering value. For example, we were a group of four and were given just one small handful of complimentary chips and salsa, which we finished quickly. No one offered to bring more.
When I asked for a glass of water, the waitress told me they only offer bottled water—not even tap. “Hay un dicho que dice: un vaso de agua no se le niega a nadie.” For a Mexican restaurant, I found that a surprising lack of basic hospitality, though not a major issue in itself.
When my kids ordered horchata, they were served in oversized beer mugs—each one could’ve easily served two people. Other restaurants usually give a heads-up about large portions, but I suppose I could have asked too.
The elote in a cup (made with canned corn) was decent but not memorable. The arrachera plate, while tasty, felt overpriced for the portion size—but I’ll give credit where it’s due, the flavor was solid.
On a more positive note, the enchiladas were good, and my kids enjoyed their chicken strips—as one would expect. So while the experience had its flaws, there were definitely a...
Read moreI refrained from writing my review immediately to calm down, but I find my anger over my experience has only grown. So here is the story: at the time of my visit I was an ostimate. This means I poop into a bag strapped to my stomach. The people in line for the bathroom understood my need and allowed me to go next. From the door man's perspective, I had just cut a significant line for the single occupant bathroom. This man took his job quite seriously and had on what looked like a lightweight bullet vest, very "tacticool" with all of its straps and pockets. He opened the door and removed me from the bathroom. Between the bathroom and exit, I took a little drink napkin to wipe the poop dripping out, and discarded it to the floor. The overzealous doorman retrieved the napkin and grabbed me by the back of my collar in the parking lot. He pulled me back so that I could put my trash into the proper receptacle, a noble cause if not for the battery. I doubt he understood what was happening or that he touched my poop. I can only hope he washed his hands after, a luxury I was not given, and that this place is under new management. I cannot speak about the quality of their food, but based on the cleanliness of the bathroom, I would not risk eating here even if I was not...
