I want to express my complete disappointment with the service I received during my recent visit.
First of all, there were almost no customers in the restaurant at that time, which means the staff were not busy at all. Despite this, they showed no interest in serving properly. From the very start, I was not greeted, not even with a simple “hello.” There was no smile, no acknowledgment, no effort to make me feel welcome. It felt like I was disturbing them just by being there.
When I ordered shashlik, the food that was brought out was extremely poor in quality. The taste was flat, the texture was off, and it clearly showed that no care went into preparing it. On top of that, the person serving the food was completely distracted, staring at their phone instead of paying attention to the customer. This is very unprofessional and shows a lack of basic respect.
At one point, I asked the server if we were supposed to eat the food with our hands since nothing else was provided. Instead of addressing the issue, the server casually responded, “I’ll bring tea later.” By the time the tea finally arrived, the food was already cold, and the whole meal was ruined.
To make things worse, the tea that was served was not even real tea. It was just plain hot water with no taste at all. I had to send it back, and when it was brought again, it was still the same — just hot water. This felt intentional, as if the staff simply didn’t care about the quality of what they were serving.
The entire experience showed a complete lack of professionalism. When there are hardly any customers, there is absolutely no excuse for such careless, disrespectful, and lazy service. A restaurant should never make customers feel ignored, unwelcome, or cheated with bad food and poor service.
Management must take immediate action. Workers need to be properly trained to understand hospitality, customer service, and respect. If these employees cannot do their job correctly, then new staff should be hired. Otherwise, more and more people will leave disappointed, just like I did.
I am very dissatisfied with my experience and strongly recommend that serious changes be made as soon...

I used to visit Lazzat Uzbek restaurant often and was always happy with the food, the service, and the reasonable prices. It was the kind of place you actually looked forward to going back to. But sadly, things have changed a lot recently, and I’ve stopped going. First of all, the prices have gone up noticeably — and not in a way that feels justified. You’re paying significantly more for the same dishes, and at the same time, the portions have become much smaller. It’s disappointing to leave feeling like you overpaid and still didn’t get a satisfying meal. The service has also gone downhill. The staff seem cold and uninterested now — that warm hospitality that used to define the place is gone. It feels like they built up a customer base and then shifted their focus away from quality and experience, and just started chasing profits. It’s a shame. Lazzat used to be a great spot, full of flavor and atmosphere. Now it feels like the soul of the place is missing. I really hope the owners notice what’s happening — otherwise they may lose even more...
Read moreLazzat used to be a decent spot for Uzbek dishes; but our most recent lunchtime was unfortunately a letdown.
The problems started with the subpar service. We entered to an empty welcome, and felt completely forgotten throughout the entire meal as well. This lack of attention was frustrating, given how quiet and empty the place was, and even more so with the newly installed impersonal "call" buttons at each table.
The food was the other glaring issue. The tea and the naan - the traditional starters in the Uzbek cuisine and previously accompanied with butter and suzma, arrived after the main dishes. The main course of pilaf and tandoori samsas were served cold.
It's a shame to see such a decline in a place we traveled almost an hour for, expecting the decent Uzbek food and charming experience it once offered. The nearly empty dining room on a Sunday lunchtime, once crowded, clearly shows others are noticing this decline too.
Disullisioned with these thoughts, we exited, with no word from the two staff members by the door, and no plan to return to...
