So, I get to this Subway, hungry after work and after my fiancé has been at work all day, we're both really tired and super hungry. We order the usual, Italian BMT with all the goodies. After it came out the toaster and the guy who was working there today was putting lettuce on my sandwich, I seen a little bug running across the lettuce. I thought it was a fruit fly, so I tried to let it go. I didn't want to be mean so I tried to ignore it at first. Then I seen it again, and I told my fiancé. Of course my fiancé didn't believe me and thought I was joking around, but then he saw it too! It crawled out of the lettuce onto the counter and crawled in between the two food counters connected and disappeared. It was a cockroach, and as soon as I mentioned something to the employee or whatever his title is working there, he didn't say anything, he acted like it wasn't there when clearly he seen the cockroach running across the lettuce and into the two food counters connected. The employee working alone (who was new) apologized repeatedly, but I couldn’t get passed the fact that he reopened the sandwiches I originally ordered then proceeded to put the forgotten meat and toppings onto my original sandwiches… I’m not one to complain but this completely grossed me out.. I’ve worked in food services for upward of 8 years.. this situation is a no no.. you gotta restart fresh after something like that.. Ended up going home with them and throwing them away and making boxed Mac and cheese… I didn’t ask for a refund because I was too upset to comprehend what just happened.. he was kind enough to give me cookies for the inconvenience. Read moreI’ve been going to this subway for a while now, but never have I had someone who makes the subs give so little care into how it was put together. The meat was in the crease of the sandwich with the cheese and the toppings were towards the opening, giving me literally not chance of having a little of everything in one bite. Everything was falling out of the sub, mayo was everywhere, and when I went to ask for one of the happy Gilmore cups, she told me that my sub didn’t come with that option. No where I saw it specified what sub it needed to come with. She let the phone ring and ring and ring. I just felt like she was overall annoyed that I was giving her business.
