I love Whataburger but the experience I had at this Whataburger this morning was terrible. I went through the drive-thru and I ordered three taquitos two bacon egg and cheese biscuits two sausage biscuits and three extra orders of hash browns. I repeated the order three times to the cashier. I got to the window to pay and the lady there repeated the wrong order. I corrected it at the window she said oh yeah okay okay... Then she handed me the receipt and looking over the receipt they charged me for three taquitos, one breakfast on a bun meal, two sausage egg and cheese biscuits, a bacon egg and cheese biscuit, and three extra orders of hash browns. Anyway, she told me to pull up to the orange cone. There was no orange cone... I instead went and parked grabbed my receipt and came inside... I spoke with the manager and the cashier at the front about the incorrect order. Manager said okay what are you supposed to have? I wrote it down on the back of the receipt. They took about 10 to 15 minutes to remake it and handed it to me. No apologies from the manager for the wait or the mistake, no offer for a refund for the price difference between a sausage egg and cheese biscuit and a sausage biscuit which is about $2 per biscuit, and they didn't give me fresh hash browns with my order. The hash browns were cold while everything else was hot because they sat there in a bag presumably while they remade the rest of the order. One thing I noticed also was that the manager was not wearing a headset so that he could monitor experiences in the drive-thru or possible issues hearing customers. Overall I would attribute the bad experience this morning to mismanagement... I mean, I didn't even get an apology from the manager. When he came up to hand me my food he just said "you the guy with the wrong order? Here you go Bud" and then walked off. I'm not really mad about the four bucks price difference but appalled that the manager didn't offer a refund or at least cookies or a coffee or something. I wouldn't be writing this review if he had. I managed a fast food restaurant for a number of years and would never treat a customer with a wrong order the way I was treated...

An order of large fries which were bad, asked for another one to be redone only to hear that they forgot to put them down. Here is your issue WB, your staff can care less to take care of guest. Don't believe me, go check yourselves. It's not that it's the new ownership, no, it's the bad execution and follow up in the operations. The day started off bad, and what was I to expect, this location is pretty much pretty bad. Also, look into your preparation on the Biscuit Sausage and Gravy, about four little pieces of sausage were on my gravy, I was not gonna get back up again. What for, it was useless. Once again, bad operations here.
Came again on Jan 28, 2024, guess by asking I wanted HOT fries was too hard to do for you guys again. What is the big deal of getting what I asked for. I specifically asked for hot fries, not sure what part it is that you don't understand, the fries that are past the 2 or 4 minute mark are not even that, they are way past the holding time. See the pic of how much I left, WB has allot of guest, but can you imagine how much stronger you can be with repeat guest? Many changes in the upper echelon but look deeper into operations as it continues to go in a downward spiral. These fries are not cheap, but they are cheap enough to just throw away into the garbage. Very disappointing visit and with many employees in the back kitchen you still cannot seem to get this correct. The guy in the blue shirt knew I asked for HOT fries, guess he did not care one bit to deliver what I asked for. But he was too pretty to present himself with his earrings, great grief, what professionalism he extends to and old beat up guy! If he serves fries the way he wears his earrings we would not be...
Read moreThis place seems to lack consistency, and good management. The first few times I got food here it was great! The last several times there's been something wrong with my order. Sometimes it's just that they left off some mustard, which is not a big deal. Other times they put onions on (which I'm allergic to, so very much a big deal!). It's happened so much I've tried to give them less of an opportunity to screw up by not getting lettuce, pickles, or tomatoes either. Nope. Still got onions on my burger. Last time I got ketchup on it, which has onions in it. I double checked my order, in case I accidentally clicked it. Nope. Mustard and mayo. So there's 20 bucks in the trash. The risk you take when ordering for delivery is that they won't resolve any issues unless you go to the store. It was almost midnight, and I ordered delivery because I didn't want to go out. Today I went in to get food, and told the lady at the counter I was here, then sat down. A long time later a guy comes over and asks if I was here for something (he apparently thought I was homeless or something?) and I told him I had an order and gave him my name. He and the lady I talked to earlier talked a bit and couldn't find my order, so I waited. I noticed the screen with the orders on it was cleared, and mine was yet to be presented. I went up and talked to someone and told them I placed an order over 20 minutes ago, and it wasn't ready yet, for some reason. She just grabbed my (now cold, and soggy) burger and handed it to me. I ordered 3 strips of bacon, and it looks like they broke one strip in half, then crumbled one half on my burger. What a tremendous waste of my time and money.
