Jack in the Box — Restaurant in Texas

Update 08/24/22 -Apparently, I'm a glutton for punishment. I will never make it home with an entire order or at least make it home to eat anything that doesn't have to be microwaved. I have been through the drive thru twice and waited 40 minutes during the 2nd round for drinks that I didn't get initially with my order. I am starting to hate it here but at least it is a step up from the location at Foster and Hwy 90 that closes on a whim when they get hungry for Denny's across the road, which ended up being more alternative after seeing the temporarily closednite. I really like the chain but these locations are cursed..

Update 06/05/22 Please do not reply with BS (contact form already done).. Just when you thought it couldn't get worse... It definitely does. The fact that the menu boards in the drive thru are always partially missing or broken should be a sign of imminent disaster to anyone visiting this restaurant. Can't make the fajita pita, out of churros, and out of Sprite. There is also the added bonus of no vegetables and serving already done bacon that is thinner than toilet paper. I definitely want my money back on this one. My entire order is either inedible, disgusting, or both. Also, please free the staff of their misery. The girl that took our order sounded as if working there equated a very slow death. Honestly, what's wrong Jack in the box? Are the restaurants franchised and this one is too broke to order ingredients??

6 Months Ago Just okay. Doesn't ever have/serve the teriyaki bowl and for whatever reason Fountain drinks. They're always a late night option but not for milkshakes. Their slogan should be.. "We don't have it or don't feel like cleaning/refilling the machine to serve it". So, this will remain a last resort...

I literally just left this location at 304A.M. I'm just getting off of work, I work in Amazon up the street from this location. I spoke to the gentleman over the speaker I was very clear and politely Can I get a sourdough combo with freshly dropped fries. I get to the window I received my whole meal in less than 2 minutes. I asked the gentleman Alex, Are these fries fresh? He told me that they came up no longer than 2 minutes ago. But yet when I felt the fries, I feel no hot coming off and they feel extra flimsy.

But he insures me that they came up 2 minutes ago. But I'm trying to wonder, how can fresh fries not retain any heat If it's underneath a heat lamp, it just freshly came up, so this man looked me dead in my eye. Respectfully and lied to my face.

Not only was my fries, not fresh. My burger was just a piece of meat and cheese. On sourdough, bread. I'm very unhappy with the service.

I've called several times this. Morning The phone is busy, but yet when you go to these places. The first thing they ask you is who you speak to. It's when you can't get ahold of anybody.

Because the phone is busy now. the phone has been busy for a whole hour, either you took the phone off the hook. Or you got everybody calling back because you're messing up, everybody's order.

Terrible place at least you could have dropped my fries for 20 seconds to give me the illusion of fresh fries, but they were too lazy to do that. I do not refer this place to anyone unless you want...

Walked in the side door because the front door has no handle. Spoke with another customer about it being my first time and what he recommended. He provided me with some decent options. Talked with and joked with him for about 5 to ten minutes when the front counter girl finally showed up. Very friendly and enthusiastic. The only one. The rest of the staff looked absolutely miserable. She took the gentleman's order and informed me she'll grab mine when she came back. I started talking with the other customer for about ten more minutes until another young lady showed up with a look on her face that looked like she was frustrated to be bringing him his food. Said here you go and walked away. The customer checked his whole order and then left. The front counter woman finally showed up again and was helpful in taking my order. Did some decent upsells. She then disappeared again. About ten minutes later, the frusted woman showed back up with my food and said, "Here you go." Then left. The original front counter girl came back up and asked if I wanted any sauces. I accepted, and then she left again. Left. I ate my food and reflected on my experiences. Foods not bad. Typical fast food. I gave two stars because when the original front counter girl was around. Service was awesome. Otherwise it be a one. I'm not in a rush...
