Cajan's Eatery LLC — Restaurant in Scott

Well . . . we were heading to breakfast at "The Coffee Depot", (which is very good), in Scott, LA and they were closed, (it was a Monday). We Googled "Breakfast in Scott, LA" and the Cajun's Eatery came up with good reviews; we decided to give it a try. My husband and I love "Hole-in-the-Wall" type places, (where the locals eat), and this seemed like the spot. The place was rundown, in poor repair, and dirty, (that was okay, except the dirty part, as long as the food was good). The one person working was not overly friendly and they were out of bisquits. Honestly, this was the worst breakfast we have ever had in our life: The food was warm-ish, (mine was cold), eggs were overcooked, the bacon was so cold that you could see the grease congealed along each slice, the hash brown potatoes were "Meh" and the toast, (only white toast available), was burnt. We ended up leaving most of our breakfast on the plate, (what a waste), and left hungry. My husband tried to leave a tip on the table, (maybe it was just an off day), but we could not get anyone to come out of the back to break a $20, (despite calling out several time, "Excuse me, excuse me, anyone there . . . ). Terrible service. I have tried to get breakfast twice at this restaurant after passing by and seeing a full parking lot. I waited for 5 minutes at the counter, calling out for an employee, ringing the bells on the door do they could hear me. I even called their phone and listened to it go to voice-mail and no one answered or even came to the front to pick up the phone. Definitely...

Definitely not up to code. Bathrooms are full of mold. You can tell they just paint over the mold because it's showing through the paint. Foods good 👍 tho. I would hate to see the kitchen though. Instead of Donating money to locals they need to get a new location or close down because the food deserves to be known more but no respectable person...
