I admit I don't come to this location as much as I should. Honestly I don't come here because of its close proximity to the worst Churches Chicken on the planet. Ok that's a lie, the location is a little out of the way but that Churches IS the worst on the planet.
Today I was craving some popcorn shrimp so I hit Popeyes. Drove right past Churches giving them a one finger salute right into Popeyes drive. Ordering was quick and easy just like I like my women.
At the window I was greeted by Blake. Dude is cool! Friendly as heck and Sharp. He politely told me it'll be a few on the shrimp and they'll bring them out nice and hot. I expected this because no one wants to eat old dry shrimp... Except people that go to Churches for that 2 day old , microwaved dry a$$ chicken.
A few minutes later Blake brings me my scrimps and told me they were hot and fresh and to have a good day.
Popeyes mgmt I'm talking to you.Y'all people must be hiring from a super pool of applicants. An entirely different gene pool from Churches. Blake has some real manager potential if he already isn't one there. Whatever you put your mind to Blake, you'll be successful at it. Promise 👊

Read moreI have been eating at Popeyes for 40 years and this location in Scott, LA just served me the worst meal I have ever had from this franchise. There was no line at the drive through at a few minutes before 6pm which I thought was odd during peak dinner time. That should have been a clue. I ordered a 2pc dark spicy with fries and a side of red beans and rice. As I drove away opened the box to start munching on the fries. They were cold. Not even warm. I kept grabbing for more thinking the hot fries must be in there somewhere. Not. Then I found the leg and took a bite. Hot but disgusting. Chalky over cooked, not crispy and zero seasoning. I mean zero! Worst fried chicken I ever had in my mouth. I arrived at home and opened the red beans and rice. Sad to say that the cup wasn’t even half full. See the pic I included. The owner of this location has zero control over the quality and preparation of his or her products. The franchiser or corporate office should shut this location down! Read moreI ordered on the app ahead of time thinking it would save time. When I got to the store, the drive thru line was wrapped around the entire building and didn't move at all for a solid 30 minutes. Occasionally people would walk out and tell us it was complete chaos inside and we should go somewhere else. Because we paid already on the app, we stuck it out. We finally got to the window after about 45 minutes to be told they couldn't find our order and was pulled forward. After ANOTHER 20 minutes of waiting I went in to ask where our food was. Once again, I was told they couldn't find my order. I showed my receipt and the manager said the problem was that they ran out of lids for the sides (don't ask me how that erases my order) Eventually we did get our food, but the entire experience was awful. I'll drive 20 extra minutes before going back here again. The store only had a few customers inside and plenty of employees behind the counter. Total time I was waiting over an hour...
