Platte Valley Creamery — Restaurant in Scottsbluff

When I was 15 years old Ron gave me my very FIRST job working at the Creamery. What an amazing experience it was learning how to make the shakes, malts, banana splits & getting some strong bicepts scooping out that delicious home made ice cream to all the customers. It was so much fun seeing all the kids come in with their pockets full of change to buy the candy which was in BIG clear containers behind the counter. Disappointed with my visit. After waiting at least 15 minutes as the older gentleman attended to two cars at the drive up window. He came over and took my order. He heard wrong and while he was making it, I corrected him and he got mad and said, " you should have been more clear." I don't know how to be much clearer than saying, " two small ice cream cones, one butter brickle and one English toffee."
