I decided to check this place out after hearing from several coworkers that it was good, and Iām glad I did. To be perfectly honest, I was expecting more variety of menu items, but this restaurant is primarily focused on sushi and hibachi items with ramen as an afterthought. Considering where we live, I suppose it makes sense for them to not be to adventures with the menu. It is on the expensive side for the area, but we both felt it was worth every penny. The service was also excellent, the waitress checked on us multiple times. My only complaint about the food is that the cheesecake was still frozen, but I of course I donāt expect a sushi/hibachi restaurant to have freshly made cheesecake on hand. Hopefully they thaw it longer next time I go, because it was delicious and I would love to see what itās like when itās not ice cream. 𤣠My husband felt that his teriyaki chicken was on the salty side, but he still liked it and he had no other complaints. The presentation of the food was tasteful and pleasing to the eye. The cheesecake was plated with a brush of purple yam sauce, my mystery crunchyroll was artfully arranged, and my husbandās hibachi bento box was also well presented. Clearly, the chefs take pride in their work. I hope this restaurant is successful, I would love to see them expand to other menu items and pick up a liquor license along the way...
Read moreI had a Gr8 experience, for my first time visiting this establishment. Our Server Rosemary, really impressed me with her professionalism and her desire to make us happy with our dining experience. On a $41 meal for me and my sister, we left a $10 tip, not a Gr8 tip, but decent. And a hour and a ½ later I realized I had lost a $20 bill. I went back to this restaurant, not knowing for sure if I misplaced it there, but I was still in close proximity and decided to go back to the restaurant and see if anyone found it. To my complete surprise, Rosemary was at the register and I asked if I had left a $20 bill on the table or under the table and she said, "yes you did, I saved it for you and put it in the office". God bless this young lady, now days $20 is a lot of money, she could have denied that I left it there and kept it for herself, but this server went above and beyond to show her integrity. I commend Rosemary, you are truly special in all aspects of my visit to this restaurant. I hope your employer sees what a value you are to have as an employee. Thank you for your service and your honesty. May God bless you...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy sister and I went to this restaurant tonight and were extremely displeased. What should have been a nice meal out to eat together, was far from that. When we arrived the hostess wasn't present and a server greeted us and tried to get us seated. When the hostess came to the podium there was a discussion on what server to place us with. They went with Jade but were unsure if she'd be able to do it because she already had two tables. They said, "it might be pushing it, but we'll try it." They shouldn't have tried it because Jade struggled the entire time we were there. She couldn't remember our drink order (water with lemon), or that we ordered a piece of cheesecake TO GO. We cashed out and waited over 20 minutes for the cheesecake to get to us. We only ended up receiving it because we went to the manager and said something. Nothing was comped and sadly we had already tipped Jade because we felt bad for her. If you go to this establishment, cross your fingers you're not...
