Backaracks Steakhouse and Grill — Restaurant in Scottsbluff

Just moved to Scottsbluff, Ne . From Colorado. Looking for a new restaurant with steak on the menu. Backtracks was recommended by the locals. Plus the welcome lady Jan Curtright gave us a lovely welcome bag that included a 25% off coupon to Backaracks. I have to say the steak was nothing less than phenomenal! The staff equaled the delicious food. Tammy came to welcome us learning from our server Taylor that it was our first time visiting their restaurant. Speaking of Taylor, she checked back within 2 minutes of serving our steaks to ensure they were cooked to our liking. I can't tell you how many times I have ordered food that was over or uncooked and just ate it anyway because the server didn't do an immediate check after serving our meal Then there was a young fellow that goes by B. He also gave us a very warm welcome and the complete history of Backaracks. To sum our experience up. I give Backaracks 5 🤩 Backaracks is #1 in Scottsbluff for a reason. Wow... once we found the actual door it was amazing from there!! (it is to the side of the building not the front where we headed first.) We were greeted with two smiling faces and promptly told we could sit where we liked. Our server Breahanna.... you, young lady, made a delicious meal so entertaining. You not only tolerated my fella's antics but you played along with a quick wit. You were prompt with the service and any needs we had even though you were busy. Now the food... (insert drooling face) He had the New York strip, baked potato and side salad. I had a half rack of ribs with the baked beans and coleslaw. Both were such large portions and the flavors. The streak was cooked just like he requested and was so tasty. Now the ribs, fall off the bones with such tender meat and again... the flavors. YUM!! I am a bit picky with regards to the baked beans, and these didn't fail, not soupy and not over cooked and a great flavor (again)!! All this food for a reasonable price too. I'd say I would return but we only live 1400 miles away, ok, I'll be back if I am ever in Nebraska again. I am so glad we chose this place!!...

We had the best server. She was super terrific and the food when we finally got it was great. However, we have a few complaints about the length of service we got there. It's approximately 7:00. We were told by our waitress that there was a party of 50 but all of their orders had already been placed. We ordered an appetizer which did come quickly. However, then we ordered our steaks by about 7:30. We did not receive our food until close to 8:15. Also, the atmosphere is very loud. In fact, while we were there, we set an elevated horse in the bar but on a lower level next to a separated by a railing and a chain link fence. There were some games unfortunately some small children were allowed to use this area unsupervised and not only were they very loud, but they also set up on the half wall that separated our area from the gaming area.
