Sam & Louie's Italian Restaurant & New York Pizzeria — Restaurant in Scottsbluff

I recommend everything! Easily my number one pizza/Italian restaurant and sports bar in all of Scottsbluff - everyone leaves happy.

They also have the nicest owners, staff, bartenders, etc. The customer service is the best on this planet - and that's why I'm writing this review.

I used to eat here every Wednesday for 2+ years until I moved away. I kept craving their pizza - and specifically - their signature pizza spice seasoning that is insanely addicting. It's the perfect complement to parmesan and red pepper but is fire on salads, steaks, pasta - basically everything you would put in your mouth.

I sent an email trying to inquire about obtaining some pizza seasoning and the owner just mailed me a surprise gift box - with a handwritten note thanking me because I love their restaurant!!. Completely blown away! Nobody does that. This place is just different.

If you don't know - now you know. 11/10 stars. If you have never had the opportunity to experience Sam & Louies (Scottsbluff) you are missing out on...

Stellar customer service & food.

So this is an updated review. For years and years this was a five star pizza place. And it's disheartening for me to now give it a two star review.

Over the past year the quality and consistency of their dough has just really gone downhill. I would say approximately half the time we get a good pie with good dough good texture and the other half of the time we get an excuse about they just made dough and the pie comes out flat like dough that has not been properly prepared or had a chance to rise.

So tonight I paid $66.64 and that included a 20% tip for 2 18-in pizzas that met sub-standard Dominos pizza quality. Supposed to be a Sam and Louie's best which is like a supreme and a pepperoni extra pepperoni.

I'm not a regular fan of Domino's Pizza but at least they're consistent

If I'm going to pay a premium price then I want a premium product.

It's not that we were wowed, there was 1 server, and three people in the kitchen we still waited over a half hour for put food woth only three tables filled, we've been here 3 times and each time it's been under par. I'm not one to leave negative reviews, but I paid over 12 dollars for less than 3oz of chicken on my CHICKEN sandwich, my daughters kids meal sauce and noodles was cold the sauce was super thick and bland like tomato paste mixed with some marina, my wife's " spicy" noodle dish was lacking spice and completely smothered in oil or butter she didn't even want to eat it. Every time has felt as if there wasn't much effort put into the dish or thoughtfulness of portion control. This is why I left 3 starts and frankly it's a little rude the way you responded to my opinion of 3 stars. If you wanna wow someone then...
