Sad soggy burrito with a side of attitude…
Messy food line - looked like a recent food rush or food fight had just occurred, but nobody came out front for several minutes. I was all alone in a Chipotle for like 5 minutes before anyone noticed me. I could hear employees joking around in the back and waited patiently. The chef in back was playing on his phone - didn’t notice me. More customers arrived and finally a female employee emerged from the back, she slammed her hands down on the metal counter at the chef, and shouted “Liiiiiiine!!!” at everyone else in the back. Then, she walked past me and the rest of the customers and went to the lobby area… where she slowly dragged metal chairs across the floor. I tried to place my order, but the guy behind the counter couldn’t hear me and had to ask me to repeat myself 3 times because Line-Girl was making so much racket with her metal chair dragging - I finally stopped trying to order and just watched until she stopped dragging chairs for no reason. Then, she had attitude with me when I eventually tried to pay of course…
Overall, it didn’t seem like there was a manager on duty or any adult supervision otherwise. This location needs a serious review from upper management or corporate. Maybe the employees feel undervalued? Otherwise, if Line-Girl is the manager, then she needs some coaching or a new job. Anyway, the girl shouting at everyone needs to chill out, get to work, and stop dragging metal chairs around while there’s a line out the door.
Shouting at her coworkers to get back to work and then doing diddly squat herself… wow…
Edit: this is a mask-free Chipotle (employees are all maskless), I was wearing a mask and seemed to get rude-tude from the maskless Line-Girl. Once she quit dragging chairs and returned to the register, the other employees on the line (who were actually working) had no problem hearing me, but of course Line-Girl couldn’t hear anything I was saying as I tried to pay… I don’t care about your political opinion regarding masks - but cut it out - you can hear me - quit playing games. Don’t make me repeat myself 10 times because you’ve got a bad attitude.
I would recommend a hearing test to Line-Girl, a new attitude, and a new job too.
Chef: Don’t touch your cell phone AND also handle food or kitchen utensils. That’s disgusting…
I don’t expect much from a Chipotle to begin with, but this lowered the bar to a whole new level. Like, Fili B’s is crushing it compared to you.
Stale chips... soggy burrito… Tossed out my food after getting home and rethinking things.

Read moreAte here on 6/28/16. My children and I ordered sofritas around 5pm. I started to not feel right and couldn't sleep, by 3am I had horrible uncontrollable diarrhea. My son, who was at work, also became horribly ill. I had to pick him up early because he soiled himself at work. My other son, luckily did not finish his burrito, so his symptoms were not as bad. Although he also suffered from extremely loose stools. In all, I lost 3.5 pounds in less than 24 hours. I have still not recovered. I phoned and spoke to Michael who merely apologized, but did not offer any resolution as to how this would not happen again. I recently received a call from corporate, after writing them, I returned said call, explaining I could not talk during the daytime, only at night. I received no follow up call. I believe, since the only common ingredient outside of the burrito wrap, was sofritas, that the sofritas was not properly handled. Perhaps spoiled. I would never eat here, or any Chipolte again. It is further noteworthy to say, months prior we went to eat here. We used the washroom prior. I went to go in, after an employee came out. She did not flush the toilet, which had stool in it. If she didn't flush, she didn't wash. I seriously doubt she did a double wash as required by law. We avoided eating there after the initial experience, returned once, had a lovely cashier. I wrote a review to their corporate office. We returned after, and became horribly ill. Do...
Read moreSubject: Unacceptable Customer Experience at Chipotle Location
To Whom It May Concern,
I have been a loyal Chipotle customer for over 15 years, visiting locations across Los Angeles, Phoenix, Las Vegas, and Detroit. Until now, I’ve consistently received a level of service and quality that reflected the brand’s standards. However, my recent visit left me deeply disappointed and confused.
Upon entering the store, there were five staff members visible at the front, yet not one person acknowledged me, greeted me, or said a word. I was completely ignored. This is the first time I’ve experienced such a lack of basic courtesy at any Chipotle.
To make matters worse, I was informed that pico de gallo — a standard and staple offering — was unavailable for the rest of the evening. There was no apology, no explanation, and no effort to offer an alternative or make up for the shortage.
As a business owner myself, I understand the importance of customer service and team training. What I witnessed was not just poor service — it bordered on discriminatory behavior, as I felt actively disregarded in a way I’ve never experienced before at your restaurants.
This location needs immediate attention regarding staff training and management oversight. Respect, courtesy, and inclusivity are non-negotiables in any customer-facing business.
I hope this feedback is taken seriously and results in corrective action. I’m happy to provide additional...
