Personally, I definitely prefer the Nektar off N Scottsdale Rd in comparison to this location. I love Nektar's menu and ingredients, but I do not enjoy the Shea location at all. I often order early morning before heading into work by using my app. Even when I order & pay using the app, if I am greeted with a long line, I still have to wait. I don't really understand this logic? This isn't the case at the N Scottsdale location. I am not sure if it is a spacial thing as the Shea location isn't very large, or if it is just a lack of care? I do not understand why it is not consistent at all locations. Not only do I find this inconvenient, I also do not find any of the people employed at the Shea location to be friendly - often many of them appear to be in poor spirits. After many, many blase encounters with the employees, and after little to no greeting made when myself and others enter the door, I chose to make a little remark to the young man who often exhibits this behavior when taking my order or name for online orders. I said 'you seem very happy to be working here!?.' He made no response at all. No smirk. No laugh. Nothing. No reaction. It is solely the case that I go to this location because it is so close to work. My company will be moving offices soon and I will ensure that I go to the N Scottsdale location where it appears to operate quite efficiently, and where they employ cheerful, helpful people.
I am unable to respond to the owner, so I have to add to my comment. I appreciate your response, so much so that I decided to order from Nektar this morning using my app. I ordered around 8:15 am. When I arrived, the young lady asked if I was a pick-up order and I indicated I was. She asked me my name - by the way, it was 8:30 at this point. I told her my name and she said she my order hadn't been started. I told her that I ordered 15 minutes ago! I told her not to worry about it and I would like a refund, but this would require me to wait in line to get a refund for which I would have been late to work. I told her I would sort it out on the app. I found out that there is no way to get a refund using the app, you have to go to the place in which you ordered from to get the refund. What a freaking joke! Never again will I EVER go to this location. If Nektar wasn't so delish, I would consider not ever spending a penny there again. ————— The manager Carrie is extremely unprofessional. When customers have a complaint, business 101 is simple. You say, “I’m so sorry your order wasn’t to your satisfaction. How can I remedy the problem?” What one doesn’t do is grill the customers like a steak trying to “understand what the problem was” when they’re saying extras that were paid for were left off the order. That’s pretty simple to understand and the solution would’ve been even simpler.

I was the first one there and I ordered 3 juices and 2 shots. 5 people came in after me and they all had gotten their orders and had left by the time my order was done. No they were not online orders they order and stood in line. I asked what was going on because I was there for about 15 almost 20 mins. She told me it was almost done the juice takes longer, but they made two huge bowls 3 smoothies and another smoothie for all the other customers.
