I had service 02/27/25 as a return client who also brought a referral in with me. Lets just say I will not be returning and I am pretty disappointed with the owner's behavior.
To begin, the check in process was very unorganized. Despite calling and speaking with the male owner to setup my appointment. My preferred masseuse was double booked and unavailable. Mistake on their part but it happens I guess and I had already driven 40 minutes to be here so I trusted the staff when they referred the comparable masseuse Rita. They assured me the experience would be consistent. The massage was awful and only continued to get worse. The Thai Balinese Signature massage begins with the masseuse kneeling on the body except this masseuse was a bit larger in size and it was not appropriate for her to put her full weight on anyone! Someone could get hurt. I seriously had to ask her to wrap up that portion of the massage and move forward to the hand portion of the massage. She was a very nice lady but overall lacked the experience in advanced massage techniques to offer effective deep tissue massage. She only knew how to apply pressure with her elbow and use the forearm to smooth out- that's all she did for 90 min. She didn't even use enough oil to lubricate the body scrub which made that step uncomfortable. She tried to back track and add oil as she was massaging and noticed the sugar scrub being too dry. Just an overall mediocre experience. Although unpleasant, I paid in full and tipped Rita because I felt bad for her. She didn't know any English and tried her best I'm sure. My referral's experience was laughable as well - the pressure was almost non-existent despite multiple attempts to ask for deeper pressure.
The most disappointing aspect of this visit was actually discussing these concerns with the female owner. I wanted to let her know about this drastically different experience than I've had in the past. Also of the safety concerns regarding a larger sized woman putting her entire weight on my back. All she did was deflect and make excuses for why HER husband (male owner) didn't know what he was doing and how she trains each therapist yada yada yada. No accountability and no apology, despite me handling the situation in the most noble way possible. Be careful who you patron and do business with especially in this day and age. This organization only cares about taking your money not respecting you....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is my #1 massage place in Arizona and the US overall. I have visited twice with my boyfriend for a coupleās massage and it was absolutely amazing. The level of detail this place has when you enter it cannot compare to any place Iāve ever been to. We were offered special herbal tea with lemongrass and other herbs. They also use Do Terra essential oils so the aroma is welcoming, warm and creates an atmosphere of complete relax of your mind, body and spirit. Two massages specialist Tina and John were true professionals. I want to give special thanks to Tina for her outstanding technique as Iāve watched her massage my boyfriend (Thai Balinese style) and I knew how good she was so I scheduled my next appointment with her. Relaxing music, great vibe, clean place, great management (special thanks to Scott and his wife for making our anniversary so special). I have already recommended this place to all of my friends in Scottsdale area and beyond. Will definitely come back. I think it was about good luck to have found this place. If you really care about your body, your mental health and want to give it proper attention and love ā this is your destination. Many thanks to Scott and his wife for a lovely tea gift we received and yet another experience which elevated our spirit and health to a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFrom the moment we stepped in, it was clear why this place has earned such glowing reviews. My cousin and I opted for the Thai Balinese Signature Massage (90 minutes) with hot stones, scalp therapy, and gua sha, and I can confidently say it was one of the most skillfully executed massages Iāve ever experienced.
The therapists struck the perfect balance between deep, targeted work and fluid relaxation, seamlessly working through tension while incorporating therapeutic stretching. The hot stones added an extra layer of relief, melting away muscle fatigue, while the gua sha and scalp therapy elevated the experience to pure indulgence. Every movement felt intentional, every transition smoothāthis wasnāt just a massage, it was bodywork at its finest.
Beyond the treatment itself, the entire experience was curated for comfort, from the serene ambiance to the thoughtful post-massage tea service. Itās rare to find a place that delivers both technical mastery and a truly restorative atmosphere, but theyāve managed to do just that. If you're looking for a massage that goes beyond surface-level relaxation and actually transforms how your body feels, this is the place. I'll...
