Service was okay, and we got the food moderately fast. They did forget a few items in the order, but once I alerted them to the situation they were quick to rectify it.
However, the treatment of their customers was downright horrible. They do not allow students to sit inside while eating the food that they bought at their own establishment, telling them the area is ‘sectioned off’ instead when there’s five other people in the entire place, excluding students, who are all sitting in the ‘sectioned off’ area despite some of them coming in later.
They do not outline this policy in advance, before people buy food from their establishment, likely because their establishment is next to a high school and that would hurt their profit margins. They opt instead to tell students they can’t sit inside while they are sitting inside to eat the food they bought and the alternative is to sit outside.
In Arizona, during the summer.
It was almost a 100 degrees outside and every student at the establishment was forced to sit outside with no air conditioning or fans whatsoever, while almost the entire place was close to empty. The whole experience was horrible and it felt pretty discriminatory in the sense that everyone who looked young enough to be a teenager was told they couldn’t sit in the ‘sectioned off’ area which was basically the entire indoor seating area.
No other establishment in the area has similar policies and this was the first time I’d ever heard of such a horrible policy. If they’d outlined said policies on the front door, I would’ve never bothered wasting my money on such a horrible experience when I paid the exact same money as everyone else. If you’d like a nice environment and a good atmosphere, I’d recommend literally any other establishment rather...
Read moreSigh... So if you go to a McDonalds or some other fast food place, you should know that you're not going to get a taste sensation or great service. You are expecting to check your order to make sure you got everything, and to we the seats in the restroom before using, etc. This McDonalds is no exception, and perhaps the caliber of worker is a bit better than some I've seen. They've never really messed up an order, though sometimes it's obvious that the fries have been in the warmer a bit longer than health standards dictate. You expect that though. It's McDonalds. But what I don't like about this particular McDonalds is the proximity to all the local schools. That means that if you walk in at the wrong time you're going to be waiting for 50 middle school and high schoolers to figure out which one is paying and which sandwich they want. I love kids; I have 3 myself, but if I have chosen fast food it's only because I need it fast, and it means I don't have time to listen to the checker who obviously knows every kid it the place catch up on the gossip. Nothing personal... I like to chat too, but when you're working, it's...
Read moreThis experience was one of the more terrible experiences I've had at McDonald's. The drive thru was the only thing open and it was moving extremely slow but I had to be here anyway so I figured I'd kill time in line. 10 min later I was finally able to get to the window. The person order taking was very miserable sounding. The person collecting money wasn't any more happy. I ordered a 10 PC nug meal with large fries a choc shake, McDouble, and a strawberry pie. My bag had 10 nug and fries. No napkins, no sauce that I requested upon order, no pie or McDouble. I then tell the person I needed said item she rolled her eyes and walked away with a high, can back and shoved the bag out the window to me. Guess what, no pie still. The drive thru line was way longer than it was when I first got there so wasn't going back to it in line the door was locked so I couldn't get anything from inside there corrected and when I tried to call the phone is busy so I guess they just get to keep my money of course way to go McDonald's. And I didn't get a receipt to call and report that I didn't get my food so I guess it is what it is and you live...
