It's my birthday and I wanted Italian. This place looked good, and the menu had some decent offerings. We made a reservation for an indoor table. We told the hostess that we had a reservation and she didn't even look. She just said "indoor or outdoor?" She would have known if she would have looked. The decor is cute enough- some blue fabric chairs, some ikea lighting, a wall of mirrors.. nice. The food was delivered REALLY quick. Like- too quick. Our appetizers were delivered about 30 seconds after ordering. The rest of the food came out maybe 2 minutes later. We got the burratta bruschetta starter. Not impressed. It was just some really runny messy cheese on toast with a small slice of tomato and a basil leaf. It was sour tasting. The menu said it had "honey balsamic", but there was no sweetness. I've ordered bruschetta at a lot of restaurantsand this was on the lower end of the spectrum. It was pretty, but that's about it. I got the papperdelle bolognese entree. The sauce tasted fine- but nothing exciting. The noodles were far too al dente- actually really chewy. There were constantly hard chunks getting caught in my teeth. Not fun. The restaurant was filled with screaming children since they serve pizza - and their moms were guzzling wine. I didn't expect this place to have so many tables of kids. Halfway through dinner the sun came raging through the windows- even though they had tint- and I couldn't see a thing for the rest of the meal. For two entrees, two diet sodas and one appetizer- it was a hundred dollars with tip. It was just an overall unimpressive experience... I'm not going to be returning.

Update: Huge improvement from a year ago! Pastas are great tasting, the appetizers are very good - the staff and service is still also very good. Bravo for the improvement! I really wanted to like this place based on the google reviews, but I should have done more research as 12 of the 17 reviews are from folks who have reviewed less than 5 places and some have only reviewed this place. The good news: the staff is wonderful: friendly and accommodating. The place is nicely curated with a mix of indoor and outdoor seating. The wine list is very good and the cocktails are also good. The octopus appetizer is on par with some of the best around. The stuffed squash blossoms are very light and tasty. The bad news: the pizza is just OK - the dough needs more chew, perhaps adding some olive oil and salt will make it chewy and taste better. Being wood-fired it should have had more char. The bucatini pasta was overcooked and mushy - not al dente at all. I also did not care for the sauce as it was more of thick paste. Same too for the gnocchi which is a shame because they were actually very tasty. I am hoping that they improve, because I really like the staff and the menu. Just need to improve a bit more.

This place is supposed to be great, but we came for the first time for brunch and I was very disappointed. Loved the patio seating, and the Connect 4 game was a nice bonus. I ordered the Southwest hash, which was more substantial than I expected but lacked flavor. I pointed out the substitution of bell pepper instead of poblano peppers and the waitress came back and said the kitchen did not have roasted poblanos. I pointed out that I would have ordered something else if I had known. She did remove that entree from our bill. The pizza dough was great, but my son thought it was "too cheesy" and didn't like it. If you look at the picture you can see the pool of grease on top of the cheese. I like my cheese on pizza, but a top class restaurant should know the right balance. The cocktails were one of the best parts of the meal. Very tasty and fairly well priced. The waitress advised us to return for dinner with fresh made pastas and sauces, but I am a little hesitant based on this experience.

We came here on November 2nd to celebrate a birthday. When we arrived the restaurant was empty, appetizers came out quickly. 3 out of 6 plates were brought out, the rest of the food was not brought out until 15+ minutes later. We could not get help from anyone in that time, no one would look at us. Not the hostess, food runners, waiter. Half the table was finished eating before the rest of the food was brought out.

Once we finally got our waiters attention and asked about our food, another guy brought it out. A bald guy with a beard wearing a beret brought out our food with the biggest attitude it was crazy. When he set it down, someone at our table said "It's not cold is it?" and the guy goes off saying "why would I bring you cold food?!" "This isn't Olive Garden" (FYI Olive Garden would never do this). He also said "the kitchen lost the ticket" while raising his voice but that turned out to be a lie. He was not apologetic in the SLIGHEST, it was insane. The food WAS cold and the waiter told us the food had been sitting and no one noticed.

We asked our waiter for a manager and he said she wasn't in, the waiter was extremely apologetic and nice. No one was in the mood to eat after that. He (waiter) gave us 2 tiramisu's (1/2 the table doesn't eat tiramisu) and comped $67 worth. We still tipped over 20% off the original bill amount.

The service was still bleak after that, we needed boxes and managed to ask the hostess and she said she'd grab us boxes and then went to the hostess stand and just sat there.... We've been multiple times over the years but this was such an insane experience that I don't think we'll...

Went to Parma for the first time last night. The food and server (Manny) were great. However the bartender, Mariah, was terrible. Initially we wanted to sit outside but we were told their misting/cooling system was broken so they instead sat us at a table inside. We were told happy hour was only for those who ordered at the patio or bar and that because we were at a table we couldn't participate. So I walked up to the bar and Mariah (the bartender) asked if this was to be ordered through the table or at the bar and I said at the bar for happy hour. She replied with "sounds good, what can I get ya". I then ordered my two drinks and she gave me the receipt which did not ring up the drinks with the happy hour prices. While handing over my card to pay I told Mariah that the drinks should be the happy hour price and she told me she thought they rung up like that and that she'd double check. Well, Mariah then swiped my card without giving me any answer and when I tried to get an explanation as to why she would tell me they would count for happy hour but then didn't ring them up that way, she was rude and snotty. Mariah gave my group and I dirty looks the rest of the night. She made our experience awful. My ID was also never checked at the bar which I found odd because I'm 21 so I look young. Pro: food was good and so was Manny. Con: Mariah was terrible and...
