This used to be my favorite Wendyās location, but lately the service has been unacceptable. Unfortunately, thereās one employee in particular who is consistently unprofessionalāshe yells at customers and struggles to take orders correctly. On Monday, I ordered two of the Wednesday meals. She asked if I wanted medium or large, so I chose medium (assuming that was the default). I also requested one chocolate Frosty and one vanilla. At the window, my total was $28 instead of the advertised $9.99 per meal. When I asked why, the cashier said it was because I had āupgraded.ā I explained that I didnāt want an upgradeāI was only given the choice of medium or large, not the default small. On top of that, the Frostys didnāt have the Wednesday syrup. When I asked about it, I was told they had rung it in as a regular Frosty and that the syrup would cost extra, even though the promotion clearly states itās included. At this point the employee shouted, āShe has to pull forward if she wants me to remake it.ā I did as asked, never received a receipt, but finally got my food. I tried to brush it off as a one-time issue. However, my coworker went today and had nearly the same experience with the same employee. She ordered the Wednesday meal, was asked to choose a drink, and when she tried to clarify whether a drink was included, the employee shouted, āShe didnāt order the Wednesday meal. If she wants to change her order, she has to pull around.ā I understand fast food is demanding, but this has now happened twice in a row with different customers. We had a very busy day and I didn't have time to call and by the next day I had forgotten about it. I went back to the same store today for breakfast and explained what had happened and the manager said that while I would have needed to have called right away to tell them about the problem, that she was going to make a one time exception and give me a replacement sandwich. I very much appreciate when a company goes out of their way to make a bad experience right, even when I didn't call to notify them right away. This manager did a wonderful job of retaining a customer who was otherwise disappointed. With that being said, I thank them and I will be going back to this store b/c this manager made it right in the end, despite getting our order wrong initially. Ā Ā Ā Read moreI go here for lunch pretty much every day that I work b since I work just down the shopping strip from here. Today was an awful experience. The store manager is an absolute dick. He interrupted me several times when I was ordering. I asked for a large water on top off my drink I was already paying for and he told me it would be 3$. Like I said I go here almost every day and they have NEVER charged me for a large drink to get a large water. It's always been 50 cents. Besides all of that I was badgered to place my order quickly, not even giving me time to really look at the menu. I've worked in fast food for 10 years (9 of which was as a manager) I understand you have drive through times you have to keep under control. But this was absolutely ridiculous and I have never been more livid. The girl at the drive through window was kind and just doing her job. But that store manager needs classes....
