Dugout — Restaurant in Scranton

I used to regularly go to the Dugout when I lived in Scranton. It’s a friendly little cop bar. The pizza was outstanding. It’s got a very cool insider vibe, but not in a snobby NYC type of way. With the Dugout, you either no it exists and you’re in the club (to enjoy this hidden gem) or you don’t and you’re really missing out! It’s the quintessential neighborhood bar. Great neighborhood bar, good beer selection and tasty bar fare. Excellent service and that old "beer garden" feel. Not the easiest to find unless you know it, but it's right on the corner of Webster Ave and River Street in South side. Give it a try and I'm sure...
