The Lackawanna Historical Society is a true treasure, located in Scranton. The staff is exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable about most everything that has occured in Lackawanna County since it's inception. The office staff, especially, Executive Director, Mary Ann, Moran, Savakinus all have a genuine love and respect for their community and those who have gone before to create this wonderful place called Scranton.
