Moo Yai Thai has become an absolute favorite for my wife and me, and we can't recommend it enough! My wife has celiac disease and a dairy allergy, so eating out can sometimes be challenging, but the staff here are incredibly knowledgeable about food allergies. They are meticulous in ensuring her meal is safe, and after dining at Moo Yai Thai well over 50 times, she has never gotten sick—a testament to their dedication and care.
As for the food, I’ve made it my mission to try almost everything on their menu, and it’s all amazing. That said, there are some standout dishes I keep coming back to. The Tom Yum Soup is a flavor explosion—perfectly balanced with tangy, spicy, and savory notes. The Pad Thai with Peanut Sauce on the Side is a comforting classic, done exceptionally well. If you’re a fan of pork dishes, the Pad Basil with Pork and the Spicy Basil Fried Rice with Pork are must-tries—they pack just the right amount of heat and are bursting with flavor.
Whether you have dietary restrictions or are just looking for consistently delicious Thai food, Moo Yai Thai delivers every time. It's a gem in Sea Bright that we feel lucky to have in...
Read moreI'm from NYC. I've eaten authentic Thai food in Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan. This was the furthest thing from authentic or even closely resemble Thai food. The food we ordered was delivered by grub hub, took about an hour on a Friday. Totally fine with the wait. However they not only sent us the wrong meal, but the food was the blandest I've ever eaten from a Asian cuisine inspired establishment. I've had better meals from food courts. Their Chicken and Basil rice was flavorless and only provided spice/heat. No basil flavor and only a few chopped basils sprinkled on top of mushy rice. Their seafood fried rice only had shrimp in it and also mushy. Where's the rest of actual seafood? The pad Thai was also as dense as a brick in their take-out container. Couldn't even break it apart when re-heating it. Absolutely awful meal. I am honestly wondering if their food tastes better when eating at the establishment, because as far as take-out is concerned. They failed at that aspect. I guess this is as good as it gets for that part of Jersey when it...

This place opened on April 2019. They started off with basic Thai dishes. Drinks, my current favorite is the coconut water with coconut meat. Also try the traditional Thai iced tea or the Thai tea with lime juice. Apps, I love the curry puffs. The pastry is very light and the stuffing is delish! Actually get the Moo Yai sampler and that will include the puffs, chicken satay, pork skewers and dumplings. Dumplings by the way has good portion of ground pork. Let me just state my favorite dishes Pad Thai chicken Steak salad Coconut soup with chicken Pineapple fried rice Seafood fried rice (good portion of crab meat!) Specials (dine in only) Steak cut in strips Crispy duck Pork cooked 2 ways Chicken with peanut sauce (similar to chicken satay) Garlic shrimp which is the number one favorite special Desserts you both enjoy the fried bananas and mango sticky rice.
