Drifters Feel Good Food — Restaurant in Sea Isle City

My first visit to Drifter's, I orded the poutine fries and was handed a bunch of cold, over-cooked fries soaked in even colder gravy. I thought the mozzarella chunks were mashed potatoes because they were so tasteless. Couldn't even get past a few bites.

The second time I tried 3 sliders. Cheesteak, bacon jalepeno ranch burger, and mozzerella tomato basil. The cheesesteak one was 90% bun and what I could taste was equivalent to a microwave White Castle slider sitting out in the sun. The burger slider was tasteless except for the peppers and ranch. The last was miserably boring mozzarella, a single pink tomato slice and NO basil.

They advertised RC Cola which I was excited for as I might have a saving grace. Turns out it's just Pepsi. In fact they advertised several sodas you don't usually find, and didn't have any of them. Their menu didn't even contain the sodas they do have.

Last but not least, the staff. I was the only customer my first visit and waited 20 minutes while the 5 or 6 workers stood in a circle talking to each other until one of them summoned the strength to refry fries that had been sitting...

Ordered via uber eats at 9:21pm. Never received my order. Kept checking the status & it said preparing order, but deliver time kept getting later & later. Looked later & they put order completed at 12:23am. Again, never even received the order period. Never heard from drifters. Now uber eats will not refund my order because drifters “arranges it’s own delivery people.” Spent $35 & got nothing!! Beware!

Reply to Owner: Then as a business if this happens you should contact the person waiting for their food. If you would have contacted me I would have been happy to give you business & pay you directly. How is a consumer supposed to know this is the situation ? Needs improvement on your...

Went around 12:30pm today(Sunday). My girlfriend got the regular chicken tenders and I got the Buffalo. The Buffalo tenders had a sauce which contained blu cheese (I am allergic), as I should’ve asked what it contained, I feel as though the menu should specify any sauce that is added onto the food for the people who forget to ask. But with that being said, I went back and the kid had no problem making me a new tender with no Buffalo sauce free of charge as I explained I was allergic and didn’t realize it had blu cheese in it.
