Giovanni's Delicatessen — Restaurant in Sea Isle City

I'm not familiar with the food scene in SIC. Today after spending a beautiful day on the beach I was starving and asked a local where I could get a good sandwich or Hoagie. He said Giovannis...well let me say he was spot on! I ordered an Italian Hoagie on a seeded roll. Was excellent, and I'm a Philly area guy so I think I realize a good sub when I have one. All top quality, the meats, cheese and of course as any true aficionado knows its all about the roll/bread. Even the woman at the counter was extremely welcoming...id obviously highly recommend Giovannis. Has that old school deli feel and smell...well...

We recently placed a catering order for our beach day wedding and Giovanni's exceeded all expectations! We ordered 100 subs & 10+ lbs of pasta salads, picked them up the day before the wedding and were worried that they wouldn't be as amazing by the time we served it, not the case at all! Everything held up perfectly and all of our guests were raving about them! The seeded rolls are epic, the rotini salad was amazing and the macaroni salad was perfect! Their hoagies were the one item at the wedding for which 100% got eaten and people still asked if we had any leftover the...

Finally got a chance to try this place and could not have been more pleased. Got the “Old World” sub, and everything about it was perfect. High quality meats/cheese, fresh veggies, and of course that famous Liscio’s seeded roll holding it all together. Even the construction and wrapping of the sandwich were both done very well. You can tell that the people making the subs here truly take pride in their craft. My only regret is not having a chance to try more of their offerings. But there will definitely future...
