Pick Up Stix Fresh Asian Flavors — Restaurant in Seal Beach

We picked up dinner here last night and we will never go back again. I ordered chicken with broccoli. My companion ordered chicken with vegetables. There were at least 5 people behind the counter and the kitchen seemed very busy. Mostly orders called in for pick-up, I suspect, because there weren't that many of us waiting in their dining room. We waited almost 1/2 an hour. Ok. They were busy.

When we finally got our food, we paid them and left a tip. And that was the best part of our dinner. Instead of receiving my chicken and broccoli, 'I too was served chicken with vegetables. So both orders should have been the same, right? Wrong. My companion's meal was swimming in soy sauce, and besides the fact that her boneless chicken had bones in it, it was tough as nails and inedible. We ended up throwing it away and I made her a couple eggs. My chicken dish had no soy sauce and the chicken was prepared differently. It was tough and very chewy but at least it was edible. I called the restaurant to tell them what happened. Their phone rang 22 times before someone answered and I was immediately put on hold for over 9 minutes. I finally hung up.

Terrible food, terrible customer service....

Not a lot of toppings on the nachos. Would have liked more meat. Some of the wonton chips weren't crispy. There was NO cilantro (missing, they forgot it), which is definitely a necessary ingredient. Cream cheese wontons are always yummy and house sauce good for dipping.

Went today again...7/4/24 and it was a better experience. Had the 2@&15 special... Kung Pao Chicken, sub mushrooms for zucchini and Kung Pao steak with brown rice. Both were very good. Steak was tender... A nice surprise! Crispy noodles were stale but fortune cookies were crispy. Note: one entree is really enough for two people! I brought half home! Pictures added for this visit.

Currently sitting here attempting to eat an undercooked and over priced dish. I ordered the drunken chicken but the person who prepared this dish must've been the drunk one. The chicken was ice cold in the middle and most of the vegetables are basically raw. Normally I don't complain but this is a second infraction from this franchise. 10 years ago I bit into a piece of chicken that was rancid while dining in San Diego. They have the audacity to have signs on each table encouraging people to write them 5 star reviews... Pure comedy. There's a reason this place is so empty. I'm literally sitting here by myself with just 2 employees on their breaks I guess. Please do better...
